दिसपुर: 2022/07/20: भारत के असम राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री हिमंत बिस्वा सरमा ने हाल ही में राज्य के स्वदेशी बुनकरों को सशक्त बनाने और उनके परिवारों को आर्थिक रूप से समर्थन देने के लिए एक पहल की शुरुआत की। 'स्वनिभर नारी' योजना बिना किसी बिचौलिए को शामिल किए एक पोर्टल के माध्यम से सीधे बुनकरों से हथकरघा वस्तुओं की खरीद करेगी। इस योजना के तहत हाथ से बुने हुए इकतीस आइटम शामिल हैं। एक आधिकारिक विज्ञप्ति में कहा गया है।

 

कपड़ा विभाग की पहल के तहत राज्य के साथ-साथ बाहर भी जागरण और प्रागज्योतिका जैसे सरकारी आउटलेट्स के माध्यम से उत्पादों की खरीद और बिक्री की जाएगी।

 

मुख्यमंत्री ने  कहा "ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण को उन क्षेत्रों तक पहुंचने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है, जहां विभागीय यार्न बैंक उपलब्ध नहीं हैं। उम्मीद है कि पोर्टल बुनकरों और खरीदारों के बीच की खाई को पाट देगा।"

 

मुख्यमंत्री ने हथकरघा और कपड़ा विभाग से पूरे देश में एक अद्वितीय हथकरघा उत्पाद असमिया गामोसा को बढ़ावा देने का आग्रह किया।

Assam state to directly procure weaver handloom items for sale

Dispur: 2022/07/20: Chief minister of India’s Assam state Himanta Biswa Sarma recently launched an initiative to empower the state’s indigenous weavers and financially support their families. The ‘Swanirbhar Naari’ scheme will procure handloom items directly from the weavers via a portal without involving any middlemen. Thirty one hand-woven items are covered under the scheme. An official release said.

 

Under the initiative of the textiles department, the products will be procured and sold through government outlets like Jagaran and Pragjyotika in the state as well as outside.

 

"The online registration is designed in a way to reach those areas also, where departmental yarn banks are not available. It is expected that the portal will bridge the gap between the weavers and the buyers," it added.

 

The chief minister urged the handloom and textiles department to promote Assamese gamosa, a unique handloom product, across the country.
