मुंबई: 18 जनवरी 2023: आज कमजोर मांग के बीच भारत में पॉलिएस्टर यार्न की कीमतों में गिरावट आई। जबकि कमजोर सेंटीमेंट के कारण पॉलिएस्टर-कॉटन यार्न की कीमतों में स्थिरता रही। बाजार रिपोर्ट कहती है।

 

कारोबारियों के मुताबिक, बाजार में पिछले सप्ताह आशावाद देखा गया, लेकिन उद्योग से सीमित लिवाली के कारण यह मंदी में बदल गया। उत्तर भारत में कपास की कीमतों में वृद्धि हुई क्योंकि मिलों ने खरीदारी शुरू कर दी।

 

पॉलिएस्टर यार्न की कीमतों को समर्थन नहीं मिला क्योंकि नियमित खरीद के अभाव में बाजार का परिदृश्य निराशाजनक था।

 

लुधियाना में पॉली स्पन यार्न की कीमतों में 2-4 रुपये प्रति किलो की गिरावट आई है। 30 काउंट पीसी कॉम्बेड यार्न (48/52) 210-217 रुपये प्रति किग्रा (जीएसटी सहित), 30 काउंट पीसी कार्डेड यार्न (65/35) की कीमत 185-190 रुपये प्रति किग्रा, 30 काउंट पॉली स्पन की कीमत पर बेचा गया यार्न 152-157 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम और पुनर्नवीनीकरण पॉलिएस्टर फाइबर (पीईटी बोतल फाइबर) 80-83 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम पर बेचा गया था।

Polyester yarn prices did not find support as the market scenario was gloomy due to the absence of regular buying.

 

In Ludhiana, Poly spun yarn prices came down by Rs.2-4 per kg. 30 count PC combed yarn (48/52) was sold at Rs.210-217 per kg (GST inclusive), 30 count PC carded yarn (65/35) was priced at Rs.185-190 per kg, 30 count poly spun yarn was sold at Rs.152-157 per kg and recycled polyester fibre (PET bottle fibre) was noted at Rs.80-83 per kg.

In Surat, Gujarat, poly spun yarn prices eased down by Rs.2-3 per kg. Demand from the downstream industry could not sustain even after better indication last week. 30 counts poly spun yarn was traded at Rs.135-136 per kg (GST extra) and 40 counts poly spun yarn at Rs.150-152 per kg.

 

Reliance Industries Limited has further decreased the prices of purified terephthalic acid (PTA) and MELT for the current week. But monoethylene glycol (MEG) was kept unchanged. On Friday, RIL had fixed the prices as: PTA at Rs.77.50 per kg (-0.20), MEG at Rs.55.90 per kg (N/C) and MELT at Rs.84.98 (-0.17) per kg. RIL decreased the prices of PSF by Rs.1 to Rs.102 per kg for the current fortnight.

 

North Indian cotton prices strengthened after mills increased buying. Cotton arrival improved in mandis because of regular sale by farmers. According to local traders, three and half months into the current season, farmers have realised that cotton prices are unlikely to touch last year’s rates. Cotton arrival increased to 15,000 bales of 170 kg. The natural fibre was traded at Rs.6,350-6,450 per maund in Punjab, Rs.6,300-6,450 per maund in Haryana and Rs.6,500-6,575 per maund in upper Rajasthan, and at Rs.61,000-63,000 per candy of 356 kg in lower Rajasthan.
