चेन्नई : 2023/03/23: भारत में मित्रा मेगा टेक्सटाइल पार्क की घोषणा के कुछ दिनों के भीतर, तमिलनाडु पार्क लॉन्च करने वाला पहला राज्य बन गया। भारतीय कपड़ा मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने चेन्नई में लॉन्च समारोह में कहा।

 

लॉन्च की पूर्व संध्या पर, राज्य और केंद्र सरकारों के बीच एक समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए और इसका आदान-प्रदान किया गया। मेगा टेक्सटाइल पार्क में कुल 1,231 करोड़ रुपये के निवेश से अपनी इकाइयां स्थापित करने के लिए 11 कंपनियों ने समझौता ज्ञापनों पर भी हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। यह परियोजना तमिलनाडु के विरुधुनगर जिले में आने वाली है।

 

एक आधिकारिक संचार के अनुसार, मेगा टेक्सटाइल पार्क विरुधुनगर जिले के ई कुमारलिंगपुरम में 1,052 एकड़ की जगह पर बनाया जाना है, जो चेन्नई-मदुरै-कन्याकुमारी राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग (NH-44) के करीब है। यह थूथुकुडी समुद्री बंदरगाह और मदुरै हवाई अड्डे से अच्छी तरह से जुड़ा हुआ है। प्रस्तावित परियोजना स्थल का स्वामित्व राज्य उद्योग संवर्धन निगम (एसआईपीसीओटी) के पास है।

 

कपड़ा क्षेत्र को बड़ा बढ़ावा देते हुए, पीएम मित्रा पार्क सामूहिक रूप से अनुमानित 20 लाख लोगों के लिए रोजगार के बड़े अवसर पैदा करेंगे, जिससे लगभग 70,000 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश आकर्षित होगा।

 

सीएम स्टालिन ने कहा कि अनुमानित 2,000 करोड़ रुपये के बुनियादी ढांचे का काम किया जाएगा, जिसमें 500 करोड़ रुपये की केंद्रीय सब्सिडी शामिल है। पूरा होने पर, कपड़ा पार्क 2 लाख लोगों को रोजगार के अवसर प्रदान करेगा और दक्षिणी तमिलनाडु के आर्थिक विकास को सुनिश्चित करेगा, उन्होंने कहा।

 

मंत्री गोयल ने कहा कि जिनिंग, बुनाई, प्रसंस्करण और शिपिंग जैसी विभिन्न प्रक्रियाएं अलग-अलग स्थानों पर की जा रही थीं, जो एक-दूसरे से बहुत दूर थीं, जिससे गतिविधि "अक्षम और महंगी" हो गई थी। सामग्री के परिवहन में भी उच्च लागत शामिल थी। उन्होंने कहा कि मेगा पार्क एक ही स्थान पर सभी प्रक्रियाओं को प्रोत्साहित करेगा जिससे परिवहन लागत में भारी कमी आएगी। राज्य में पीएम मित्रा पार्क की सुविधाओं में प्लग-एंड-प्ले इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर, एक अपशिष्ट उपचार संयंत्र और परीक्षण सुविधाएं शामिल हैं।

 

इस अवसर पर, प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने ट्वीट किया, "पीएम मित्रा मेगा टेक्सटाइल पार्क राज्य को वैश्विक स्तर पर मानव निर्मित फाइबर और तकनीकी वस्त्र बाजार में अधिक से अधिक हिस्सेदारी देने में सक्षम करेगा, जिससे वस्त्रों के लिए वैश्विक केंद्र बनने के भारत के प्रयासों को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।"

 

गोयल के अलावा स्टालिन, राज्य के मंत्रियों थंगम थेनारासु, केकेएसएसआर रामचंद्रन, आर गांधी और केंद्रीय मंत्रियों एल मुरुगन और दर्शना विक्रम जरदोश की उपस्थिति में अधिकारियों के बीच समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए।

Tamil Nadu became the 1st Indian state to launch PM MITRA mega textile park

 

Chennai : 2023/03/23: Within days of the announcement of 7 PM MITRA mega textile parks in India, Tamil Nadu became the first state to launch the park. Indian textile minister Piyush Goyal said at the launch ceremony in Chennai.

 

On the eve of the launch, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed and exchanged between the state and central governments. Eleven companies have also signed MoUs to set up their units with a total investment of Rs 1,231 crore in the mega textile park. The project is set to come up in Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu.

 

According to an official communication, the mega textile park is set to be built on a 1,052-acre site in E Kumaralingapuram in Virudhunagar district, which is close to the Chennai-Madurai-Kanyakumari national highway (NH-44). It is well connected to Thoothukudi sea port and Madurai airport. The proposed project site is owned by the State Industries Promotion Corporation (SIPCOT).

 

Giving a big boost to the textile sector, the PM MITRA parks collectively would create huge employment opportunities for an estimated 20 lakh people, attracting about Rs 70,000 crore investment.

 

CM Stalin said infrastructure work at an estimated Rs 2,000 crore, which includes a Central subsidy of Rs 500 crore, will be taken up. Upon completion, the textile park will provide employment opportunities to 2 lakh people and would ensure the economic development of southern Tamil Nadu, he said.

 

Minister Goyal said that various processes such as ginning, weaving, processing, and shipping were being done at separate locations that were far away from each other, making the activity "inefficient and costly." The transportation of material also involved a high cost. The mega park will encourage all the processes at one place which will reduce transportation costs drastically, he said. The amenities at the PM MITRA park in the state include plug-and-play infrastructure, an effluent treatment plant, and testing facilities.

 

On the occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, "The PM MITRA mega textiles park will enable the state to have a greater share in the man-made fibre and technical textiles market globally thus boosting India's efforts to be a global hub for textiles."

 

The MoU was signed between officials in the presence of Stalin, state ministers Thangam Thennarasu, KKSSR Ramachandran, R Gandhi, and Union ministers L Murugan and Darshana Vikram Jardosh, apart from Goyal.
