मुंबई, 19 अक्टूबर 2023: आईटीएमई अफ्रीका और मध्य पूर्व 2023 के आयोजक इंडिया आईटीएमई सोसाइटी,  ने 11 अक्टूबर 2023 को आईटीएमई सेंटर, नरीमन पॉइंट, मुंबई में एक पूर्वावलोकन और पर्दा उठाने वाला कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया।

 

ITME अफ्रीका 2023 अफ्रीका में कपड़ा प्रौद्योगिकी और इंजीनियरिंग के माध्यम से आत्मनिर्भरता, सामाजिक-आर्थिक उन्नति के एक नए युग की शुरुआत कर रहा है।

यह नेटवर्किंग प्रस्तुति 30 नवंबर से 2 दिसंबर 2023 तक नैरोबी, केन्या में आगामी अंतर्राष्ट्रीय प्रदर्शनी ITME अफ्रीका और M.E 2023 की एक झलक दिखाने के लिए थी। यह वैश्विक दर्शकों के लिए आयोजित श्रृंखला का दूसरा कार्यक्रम है; पहला कार्यक्रम 3 अक्टूबर को केन्या के नैरोबी में वरिष्ठ केन्याई सरकारी अधिकारियों और दूतावास की भागीदारी की उपस्थिति में आयोजित किया गया था।

 

इस मुंबई संस्करण के कर्टेन रेज़र और पूर्वावलोकन के मुख्य आकर्षण और विषयों में भारतीय कपड़ा की ताकत और कैसे अफ्रीका कपड़ा उद्योग का नेतृत्व करने के लिए भारत के साथ सहयोग कर सकता है शामिल है। उद्योग विशेषज्ञ एवं अनुभवी टेक्सटाइल पेशेवर श्री उपदीप सिंह ने इस पर प्रकाश डाला।

 

अफ्रीका भारत के लिए अवसरों की भूमि है। कपड़ा उद्योग के लिए प्रदर्शनी द्विपक्षीय व्यापार का प्रवेश द्वार कैसे हो सकती है? फिक्की के सहायक महासचिव श्री बलविंदर सिंह साहनी ने अपने विचार प्रस्तुत किये। टेक्निकल टेक्सटाइल्स एंड द फ्यूचर का प्रस्तुतीकरण खोसला प्रोफाइल प्राइवेट लिमिटेड के अध्यक्ष एवं प्रबंध निदेशक श्री प्रमोद खोसला द्वारा किया गया। लिमिटेड, टेक्सटाइल सेगमेंट में 2020 से भारत और अफ्रीका के बीच व्यापार जुड़ाव में वृद्धि पर सुविन के प्रबंध निदेशक श्री अविनाश मयेकर द्वारा ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया था।
