अहमदाबाद: 2024/06/20:  गुजरात चैंबर ऑफ कॉमर्स एंड इंडस्ट्री (जीसीसीआई) ने टेक्सटाइल लीडरशिप कॉन्क्लेव 2024 के तीसरे संस्करण का आयोजन 15 जून, 2024 को अहमदाबाद के कर्णावती क्लब के गोल्डन ग्लोरी हॉल में श्री हसमुखभाई पटेल, सांसद और द टेक्सटाइल एसोसिएशन (इंडिया), (अहमदाबाद यूनिट) के अध्यक्ष की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति में किया। जीसीसीआई के महासचिव, डॉ. दुष्यंत रावल ने यह जानकारी दी।

 

श्री हसमुखभाई पटेल, सांसद और द टेक्सटाइल एसोसिएशन (इंडिया), (अहमदाबाद यूनिट) के अध्यक्ष ने मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में टेक्सटाइल लीडरशिप कॉन्क्लेव के संस्मरणों का अनावरण किया। उन्होंने पिछले दो संस्करणों के सभी वक्ताओं के भाषणों को सारांशित करने के लिए संस्मरणों की सराहना की। पटेल ने टेक्सटाइल नेताओं से भारत को वैश्विक टेक्सटाइल हब बनाने और उद्योग के सभी क्षेत्रों में आत्मनिर्भरता हासिल करने में सहयोग करने का आग्रह किया।

अपने स्वागत भाषण के दौरान, जीसीसीआई के अध्यक्ष श्री अजय पटेल ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि यह टेक्सटाइल लीडरशिप कॉन्क्लेव अपने पिछले संस्करणों की सफलता पर आधारित है, जिसका उद्देश्य कपड़ा उद्योग के सामने आने वाली जरूरतों और मुद्दों पर गहन चर्चा और विचार-विमर्श के लिए एक मंच प्रदान करना है। उन्होंने माननीय मुख्य अतिथि और उपस्थित अन्य सम्मानित वक्ताओं का गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया। उन्होंने वर्तमान परिदृश्य और गुजरात के कपड़ा उद्योग के महत्वपूर्ण योगदान के बारे में भी जानकारी दी।

वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष श्री संदीप इंजीनियर ने गुजरात के आर्थिक ढांचे में इसकी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका को स्वीकार करते हुए, कपड़ा क्षेत्र को समर्थन देने के लिए जीसीसीआई की दृढ़ प्रतिबद्धता को दोहराया। 5 ट्रिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर की अर्थव्यवस्था प्राप्त करने के भारत के महत्वाकांक्षी लक्ष्य के साथ, कपड़ा उद्योग के रणनीतिक महत्व पर जोर दिया जाता है, जिससे इसमें शामिल सभी हितधारकों के लिए पारस्परिक लाभ सुनिश्चित होता है।

विषय संबोधन देते हुए, टेक्सटाइल टास्क फोर्स के अध्यक्ष श्री सौरिन पारिख ने कॉन्क्लेव के इस तीसरे संस्करण के पीछे की अवधारणा का संक्षिप्त विवरण दिया। इसके अलावा, उन्होंने उद्योग की चुनौतियों के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने और उन्हें सरकार तक प्रभावी ढंग से संप्रेषित करने में इस तरह के समारोहों के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने कहा कि यह सक्रिय भागीदारी, सभी हितधारकों की बेहतरी के लिए राज्य की कपड़ा नीति को आकार देने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती है। संगम (इंडिया) लिमिटेड के उपाध्यक्ष डॉ. एस.एन.मोदानी ने कंपनी की प्रेरक यात्रा को याद किया, जिसमें कंपनी की साधारण शुरुआत से लेकर उद्योग में अग्रणी के रूप में इसके वर्तमान कद तक के विकास का वर्णन किया गया। उन्होंने बताया कि कैसे कंपनी 58 देशों में मौजूदगी के साथ कपड़ा क्षेत्र में आधारशिला के रूप में उभरी है, जिसने वैश्विक कपड़ा निर्यातक के रूप में अपनी स्थिति को मजबूती से स्थापित किया है। डॉ. मोदानी ने पर्यावरण, सामाजिक और शासन (ईएसजी) सिद्धांतों के प्रति कंपनी की प्रतिबद्धता पर जोर दिया, सभी हितधारकों के लिए स्थायी मूल्य बनाने के लिए इसके समर्पण को उजागर किया। गुजरात चैंबर ऑफ कॉमर्स एंड इंडस्ट्री श्री प्रमोद खोसला, अध्यक्ष और प्रबंध निदेशक, खोसला प्रोफाइल प्राइवेट लिमिटेड, एक पहली पीढ़ी के उद्यमी, ने भारत के फिल्ट्रेशन फैब्रिक्स और पॉलीप्रोपाइलीन फाइबर उद्योग के साथ अपना करियर बनाया। 1977 में RSWM में एक प्रबंधन प्रशिक्षु के रूप में शुरुआत करते हुए, उन्होंने 1979 में घरेलू स्तर पर पॉलीप्रोपाइलीन फ़िल्टर फ़ैब्रिक्स की मार्केटिंग में विस्तार किया, और फ़िल्टर फ़ैब्रिक्स और तकनीकी वस्त्रों का भारत का सबसे बड़ा निर्माता बन गए। विभिन्न स्थानों पर 1500 से अधिक कर्मचारियों के साथ खोसला फ़िल्टर, ग्रैन्यूल/फ़ाइबर से तैयार उत्पादों तक एक एकीकृत विनिर्माण प्रक्रिया प्रदान करता है। उन्नत यूरोपीय तकनीक का लाभ उठाते हुए, 60 से अधिक देशों को निर्यात किए गए उनके फ़िल्टरेशन फ़ैब्रिक, KPPL की असाधारण गुणवत्ता की गवाही देते हैं।

डी'डेकोर होम फ़ैब्रिक्स प्राइवेट लिमिटेड के प्रबंध निदेशक श्री अजय अरोड़ा ने विस्तार से बताया कि कैसे डी'डेकोर एक पारिवारिक उद्यम के रूप में अपनी जड़ों से आगे बढ़कर फर्निशिंग फ़ैब्रिक्स उद्योग में वैश्विक नेता के रूप में उभरा है उन्होंने वितरण, आपूर्ति श्रृंखला और खुदरा प्रथाओं के आधुनिकीकरण पर जोर दिया, लेकिन डिजिटल नवाचार को उत्साहपूर्वक अपनाने पर भी जोर दिया, जिससे डी'डेकोर उद्योग विकास के अगुआ के रूप में आगे बढ़ा।

इस कार्यक्रम में आकर्षक पटोला फैशन शो का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें गुजरात के सांस्कृतिक महत्व को दर्शाया गया और पाटन पटोला के कालातीत महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला गया।

तीन स्टार्टअप ने अपने अभिनव समाधान प्रस्तुत किए। सीमलेस टेक्स्टेक प्राइवेट लिमिटेड ने वास्तविक समय में अतालता की निगरानी के लिए प्रवाहकीय कपड़ा-आधारित शुष्क इलेक्ट्रोड के साथ एकीकृत परिधान का प्रदर्शन किया। स्टेटमेंट डेनिम ने पर्यावरण के अनुकूल डेनिम उत्पादों को प्रदर्शित किया, जबकि ऑल्टमैट प्राइवेट लिमिटेड ने मुख्यधारा की स्थिरता के भविष्य की कल्पना करते हुए टिकाऊ प्राकृतिक फाइबर पेश किए।

भारत भर में जिनिंग, स्पिनिंग, वीविंग, प्रोसेसिंग, गारमेंटिंग, तकनीकी वस्त्र और मशीनरी निर्माताओं से बड़ी संख्या में उद्योगों ने सम्मेलन में भाग लिया।

Ahmedabad: 2024/06/20: Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) organised the 3rd edition of Textile Leadership Conclave 2024 on June 15, 2024 at Golden Glory Hall of Karnavati Club, Ahmedabad in the august presence of Shri Hasmukhbhai Patel, Member of Parliament and President, The Textile Association (India), (Ahmedabad Unit). This was informed by Dr. Dushyant Rawal, General Secretary, GCCI.

 

Shri Hasmukhbhai Patel, Member of Parliament and President, The Textile Association (India), (Ahmedabad Unit) unveiled the Memorabilia of Textile Leadership Conclave as the Chief Guest. He appreciated the Memorabilia for summarizing the speeches of all the speakers of the last two editions. Patel urged the textile leaders to collaborate in making India a global textile hub and achieving self-reliance in all sectors of the industry.

 

During his welcome address, Mr. Ajay Patel, President, GCCI emphasised that this Textile Leadership Conclave builds on the success of its previous editions, with the aim of providing a platform for in-depth discussions and deliberations on the needs and issues faced by the textile industry. He extended a warm welcome to the honourable Chief Guest and other esteemed speakers present. He also briefed about the current scenario and the significant contribution of Gujarat’s textile industry.

 

Sr. Sandeep Engineer, Senior Vice President, reiterated GCCI’s firm commitment to support the textile sector, acknowledging its crucial role in Gujarat’s economic framework. With India’s ambitious target of achieving a US$ 5 trillion economy, the strategic importance of the textile industry is emphasised, ensuring mutual benefits for all stakeholders involved.

 

Delivering the theme address, Mr. Saurin Parikh, Chairman, Textile Task Force, gave a brief overview of the concept behind this third edition of the Conclave. Further, he highlighted the importance of such gatherings in raising awareness about the challenges of the industry and effectively communicating them to the Government. This active participation, he added, plays a vital role in shaping the State’s textile policy for the betterment of all stakeholders. Dr. S.N. Modani, Vice Chairman, Sangam (India) Ltd., recalled the Company’s inspiring journey, describing its growth from humble beginnings to its current stature as a leader in the industry. He explained how the Company has emerged as a cornerstone in the textile sector with a presence in 58 countries, firmly establishing its position as a global textile exporter. Dr. Modani emphasized the Company’s commitment to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles, highlighting its dedication to creating sustainable value for all stakeholders. Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shri Pramod Khosla, Chairman and Managing Director, Khosla Profiles Private Limited, a first-generation entrepreneur, built his career with India’s filtration fabrics and polypropylene fiber industry. Starting as a management trainee at RSWM in 1977, he expanded into marketing polypropylene filter fabrics domestically in 1979, and became India's largest manufacturer of filter fabrics and technical textiles. Khosla Filters, with over 1500 employees across various locations, offers an integrated manufacturing process from granules/fibres to finished products. Leveraging advanced European technology, their filtration fabrics exported to over 60 countries bear testimony to KPPL's ​​exceptional quality.

 

Mr Ajay Arora, Managing Director, D'Decor Home Fabrics Pvt Ltd, elaborated on how D'Decor has grown from its roots as a family enterprise to emerge as a global leader in the furnishing fabrics industry. He emphasised on modernisation of distribution, supply chain and retail practices, but also on the enthusiastic adoption of digital innovation, leading D'Decor to lead the industry growth.

 

The event featured an eye-catching Patola fashion show, which showcased the cultural significance of Gujarat and highlighted the timeless importance of Patan Patola.

 

Three startups presented their innovative solutions. Seamless Textech Pvt Ltd showcased apparel integrated with conductive textile-based dry electrodes for monitoring arrhythmia in real-time. Statement Denim showcased eco-friendly denim products while Altmat Pvt Ltd introduced sustainable natural fibres, envisioning the future of mainstream sustainability.

 

A large number of industries from ginning, spinning, weaving, processing, garmenting, technical textiles and machinery manufacturers across India attended the conference.
