India's CBIC extends relief incentive for export cargo till March 31 !! भारत के CBIC ने एक्सपोर्ट कार्गो के लिए राहत प्रोत्साहन 31 मार्च तक बढ़ाया

नई दिल्ली: 18/03/2026: भारत के केंद्रीय अप्रत्यक्ष कर और सीमा शुल्क बोर्ड (CBIC) ने कल, ईरान युद्ध के कारण होर्मुज जलडमरूमध्य में पैदा हुई बाधाओं के बीच, एक्सपोर्ट कार्गो के लिए एक राहत प्रोत्साहन को 31 मार्च तक बढ़ा दिया। इसने सीमा शुल्क अधिनियम के तहत एक नई मानक संचालन प्रक्रिया (SOP) जारी की।

 

पिछले हफ़्ते, इसने उन एक्सपोर्ट खेपों को संभालने के लिए एक सरल प्रक्रिया शुरू की थी जो अपने गंतव्य बंदरगाहों तक नहीं पहुँच पातीं और वापस आ जाती हैं; यह उपाय 23 मार्च तक प्रभावी रहेगा।

 

अब इसने 'कंटेनर लोड से कम' (LCL) के लिए अंतर्राष्ट्रीय ट्रांस-शिपमेंट की सुविधा को 31 मार्च तक सभी अधिसूचित बंदरगाहों और हवाई अड्डों तक बढ़ा दिया है। यह अनुमति पहले केवल चेन्नई और कोचीन जैसे चुनिंदा बंदरगाहों तक ही सीमित थी।

 

मार्ग बदले गए तरल और थोक कार्गो को सीमा शुल्क क्षेत्र के भीतर अस्थायी रूप से उतारने और रखने की अनुमति होगी।

 

इन राहत उपायों के तहत, भारत लौटने वाले कंटेनरों को, शिपिंग दस्तावेजों के सत्यापन की शर्त पर, बिना मानक आयात कागज़ात जमा किए ही बंदरगाह टर्मिनल पर जहाज़ों से उतारा जा सकता है।

New Delhi:2026/03/18: India’s Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) yesterday extended a relief incentive for export cargo till March 31 amid the disruption at the Strait of Hormuz arising out of the Iran war. It issued fresh standard operating procedure (SOP) under the Customs Act.

 

Last week, it introduced a simplified procedure for handling export consignments that fail to reach their destination ports and are returned; the measure will remain in effect until March 23.

 

It has now extended international trans-shipment for less than container load (LCL) to all notified ports and airports till March 31. The allowance was earlier restricted to selected ports like Chennai and Cochin.

 

Temporary unloading and storage of diverted liquid and bulk cargo will be permitted within the customs area.

 

Under the relief measures, containers returning to India can be taken off vessels at the port terminal without filing the standard import paperwork, subject to verification of the shipping documents.

 

Container details will be verified against the corresponding shipping bills, and the integrity of the seals will be checked. Containers with tampered or broken seals will be subjected to a full examination.
