कपास पर ICAR -अखिल भारतीय समन्वित अनुसंधान परियोजना के अनुसंधान केंद्र स्थापित करने की योजना

 हैदराबाद: 14 फरवरी 2022: वारंगल और आदिलाबाद में कपास पर आईसीएआर-अखिल भारतीय समन्वित अनुसंधान परियोजना के अनुसंधान केंद्र स्थापित करने की योजना शुरू हो गई है। शुक्रवार को लोकसभा में केंद्रीय कपड़ा राज्य मंत्री दर्शन जरदोश ने कहा।

 

 

उन्‍होंने कहा कि केंद्र ने कपड़ा समिति के माध्यम से "कस्तूरी कॉटन इंडिया" ब्रांड नाम के तहत भारतीय कपास को बढ़ावा देने के लिए एक कदम उठाया है।

 

 

उन्होंने कहा कि तेलंगाना कपास को अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजारों में प्रीमियम कपास के रूप में ब्रांड करने के लिए केंद्र सरकार ने कदम उठाए हैं। ICAR-CIRCOT ने भारतीय कपास की ब्रांडिंग के लिए परीक्षण मानकों और स्वीकृति मानदंड के रूप में आवश्यक तकनीकी सहायता प्रदान की थी।

 

 

 

तेलंगाना में उगाए जाने वाले कपास के बारे में, केंद्रीय कपड़ा राज्य मंत्री ने कहा कि भारत में उत्पादित कुछ किस्में जैसे सुविन (37-39 मिमी), डीसीएच-32 (34-36 मिमी) आदि, लंबाई में सबसे लंबी और महीन सूत विनिर्माण के लिए उपयुक्त हैं। अधिकतर, 32.5 मिमी से 36 मिमी कपास तमिलनाडु, कर्नाटक, मध्य प्रदेश और राजस्थान के कुछ हिस्सों में उगाया जाता है। हालांकि, तेलंगाना में 28 मिमी से 31 मिमी की स्टेपल लंबाई वाली कपास उगाई जाती है, जो कि लंबे समय तक प्रधान कपास है।

The plans for setting up research centres of ICAR-All India Coordinated Research Project on cotton at Warangal and Adilabad have commenced

Hyderabad: 14 Feb 2022: The Central government has said the plans for setting up research centres of ICAR-All India Coordinated Research Project on cotton at Warangal and Adilabad have commenced. The Union State Minister of Textiles Darshana Jardosh said In Lok Sabha on Friday.

 

He said that the Centre had initiated a step for the promotion of Indian cotton under the brand name “Kasturi Cotton India” through the Textiles Committee.

 

He said  that  the the Union government has taken steps in branding Telangana cotton as premium cotton in international markets. ICAR-CIRCOT had provided necessary technical support in the form of test parameters and acceptance criteria for the branding of Indian cotton.

 

Regarding the cotton grown in Telangana, the Union State Minister of Textiles said some of the varieties produced in India like Suvin (37-39mm), DCH-32 (34-36MM) etc, are the longest in length and suitable for manufacturing finer yarn. Mostly, 32.5 mm to 36 mm cotton is grown in some parts of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. However, 28 mm to 31mm staple length cotton is grown in Telangana, which is long-staple cotton.
