थोक मूल्य सूचकांक मुद्रास्फीति जनवरीमें में हुई कम, wholesale price inflation rate eased

 

 

नयी दिल्‍ली : 15 फरवरी 2022:  भारत की थोक मूल्य सूचकांक मुद्रास्फीति की दर जनवरी में कम होकर 12.96% पर आ गई। यह पिछले महीने में 13.56% थी। वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्रालय के तहत आर्थिक सलाहकार कार्यालय के उद्योग और आंतरिक व्यापार संवर्धन विभाग(DPIIT) ने ये आंकड़ों जारी किए हैं।

 

थोक मूल्य सूचकांक (WPI) के अनंतिम आंकड़े (provisional figures) हर महीने की 14 तारीख को जारी किए जाते हैं। ये संस्थागत स्रोतों और चयनित विनिर्माण इकाइयों (manufacturing units) से प्राप्त आंकड़ों पर आधारित होते हैं।

 

जनवरी के दौरान, विनिर्मित वस्तुओं (manufactured items) की मुद्रास्फीति 9.42 प्रतिशत तक कम हो गई। खाद्य पदार्थों की मुद्रास्फीति दर 10.33 प्रतिशत रह  गयी। ईंधन की मुद्रास्फीति की दर जनवरी में कम होकर 32.27 प्रतिशत पर आ गई, जो दिसंबर में 32.3 प्रतिशत थी।

 

जनवरी 2022 के महीने के लिए सभी वस्तुओं के लिए आधिकारिक WPI (आधार: 2011-12 = 100) पिछले महीने के 142.4 से बढ़कर 142.9 हो गया।

 

जनवरी 2022 के लिए निर्मित उत्पादों का सूचकांक (भार 64.23 प्रतिशत) दिसंबर 2021 के महीने के 136.4 से बढ़कर 137.1 हो गया।

 

'वस्त्र निर्माण' उप-समूह का सूचकांक पिछले महीने के 139.1 से बढ़कर 140.0 हो गया। सूचकांक 'गारमेंट के निर्माण' के लिए भी दिसंबर 2021 में 144.0 से थोड़ा बढ़कर 144.6 हो गया।

 

प्राथमिक वस्तुओं का सूचकांक (भारांक 22.62 प्रतिशत) जनवरी 2022 में पिछले महीने के 167.8 से गिरकर 165.0 हो गया। दूसरी ओर, ईंधन और बिजली का सूचकांक दिसंबर 2021 में बढ़कर 133.2 से 128.2 हो गया।

 

इस बीच, उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक (सीपीआई) के लिए आधार 2012=100 पर अखिल भारतीय मुद्रास्फीति दर जनवरी 2022 में 6.01 (अनंतिम) थी। दिसंबर 2021 में 5.66 (अंतिम) और जनवरी 2021 में यह 4.06 थी।

 

खाद्य पदार्थों में मुद्रास्फीति, जनवरी 2022 में बढ़कर 10.33 प्रतिशत हो गई। यह दिसंबर 2021 में 9.56 प्रतिशत थी। सब्जियों की कीमतों में वृद्धि दर पिछले महीने के 31.56 प्रतिशत के मुकाबले बढ़कर 38.45 प्रतिशत हो गई।

 

खाद्य वस्तुओं की श्रेणी में, दालों, अनाज और धान की कीमतों में महीने-दर-महीने वृद्धि देखी गई। अंडा, मांस और मछली में मुद्रास्फीति 9.85 प्रतिशत और आलू और प्याज में क्रमशः (-)14.45 और (-) 15.98 प्रतिशत रही।

India’s wholesale price inflation rate eased in January.

New Delhi: February 15, 2022: India's Wholesale Price Index inflation rate came down to 12.96% in January. It was 13.56% in the previous month. These figures have been released by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Office of the Economic Advisor under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

 

The provisional figures of Wholesale Price Index (WPI) are released on the 14th of every month. These are based on data received from institutional sources and selected manufacturing units.

 

During January, inflation in manufactured items eased to 9.42 per cent. The inflation rate of food articles stood at 10.33 percent. Fuel inflation eased to 32.27 per cent in January from 32.3 per cent in December.

 

 

 

 

The decline in inflation rate for manufactured products was led by products including food, beverages, tobacco, textiles, wood, paper, chemicals, rubber, cement, basic metals, steel among others.

 

The official WPI for all commodities (Base: 2011-12 = 100) for the month of January 2022 increased to 142.9 from previous month’s 142.4.

 

The index for manufactured products (weight 64.23 per cent) for January 2022 increased to 137.1 from 136.4 for the month of December 2021.

The index for ‘Manufacture of Textiles’ sub-group increased to 140.0 from previous month’s 139.1, while the index for ‘Manufacture of Wearing Apparel’ also increased slightly to 144.6 from 144.0 in December 2021.

 

The index for primary articles (weight 22.62 per cent) dropped to 165.0 in January 2022 from previous month’s 167.8. On the other hand, the index for fuel and power (weight 13.15 per cent) increased to 133.2 form 128.2 in December 2021.

 

Inflation in food articles, however, spiked to a 10.33 per cent in January 2022 from 9.56 per cent in December 2021. Vegetable price rise rate jumped to 38.45 per cent, against 31.56 per cent in the previous month.

 

In the food articles category, pulses, cereals and paddy witnessed a month-on-month price rise, while inflation in egg, meat and fish stood at 9.85 per cent and in potato and onion at (-)14.45 and (-)15.98 per cent, respectively.
