मुंबई: 15 मार्च 2022:  डाउनस्ट्रीम उद्योग से बेहतर खरीदारी और कपास के महंगे होने से दक्षिण भारत का सूती धागा बाजार आज सकारात्मक बना रहा।

 

मुंबई के बाजार में 10 रुपये प्रति 5 किलो की वृद्धि देखी गई। तिरुपुर बाजार में कीमतों में 2-5 रुपये प्रति किलो की बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई।

 

व्यापारी आशावादी थे। घरेलू बाजार में गर्मी की मांग में तेजी आ सकती है। हालांकि, निर्यात मांग अभी भी अनिश्चित है। कताई मिलें अपनी पेशकश की कीमतों में वृद्धि कर रही थीं क्योंकि उन्हें कपास महंगा मिल रहा था। कपड़ा उत्पादक निकट भविष्य में अधिक कीमतों और बेहतर मांग की उम्मीद में सूत खरीद रहे हैं। डाउनस्ट्रीम उद्योग से बेहतर मांग के लिए खरीदारों का विश्वास बढ़ा। कपास की हाल की कीमतों में वृद्धि ने भी धागे की महंगी कीमतों को उचित ठहराया। गारमेंट इकाइयों को खुदरा विक्रेताओं और ब्रांडों से ऑर्डर मिल रहे हैं।

 

परिधान इकाइयों की थोड़ी बेहतर मांग के बीच मुंबई के बाजार में यार्न की कीमतों में 10 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम की वृद्धि हुई। ताने और बाने की किस्मों के 60 काउंट कार्डेड सूती धागे का कारोबार क्रमशः 1,910-2,010 रुपये प्रति 5 किलोग्राम और 1,720-1,790 रुपये प्रति 5 किलोग्राम था। ताना किस्म के कार्डेड कॉटन यार्न (44/46 काउंट) का कारोबार 1,720-1,760 रुपये प्रति 5 किलोग्राम पर हुआ। बाने की किस्म का 80 काउंट कार्डेड सूती धागा 1,930-1.960 रुपये प्रति 4.5 किलोग्राम पर बेचा गया।

 

तिरुपुर के बाजार में भी पावरलूम ऑपरेटरों द्वारा अधिक मांग दर्ज की गई क्योंकि उन्हें परिधान इकाइयों से ऑर्डर मिल रहे हैं। पिछले सप्ताह की तुलना में व्यापारिक गतिविधियां बेहतर रहीं। बाजार में आने वाले खरीदार ताजा खरीदारी को लेकर गंभीर हैं। पहले, वे कीमतों के लिए मोल जोल कर रहे थे लेकिन ऑर्डर देने से हिचक रहे थे। आज एक हफ्ते में बाजार के हालात बदल गए हैं।

 

लेकिन रूस और यूक्रेन के बीच जारी वार्ता के बावजूद निर्यात मांग अभी भी अनिश्चित है। इन देशों में युद्ध के कारण ताजा निर्यात आदेश और शिपमेंट कार्यक्रम बाधित हैं। इन देशों के नेताओं के बीच जारी बातचीत ने युद्धविराम के लिए परस्पर स्वीकार्य समझौते की उम्मीदें जगा दी हैं। निर्यातक और बड़े पैमाने पर बाजार हाल के घटनाक्रम पर नजर रख रहे हैं। यदि कोई शांति समझौता हो जाता है, तो निर्यातकों को नए ऑर्डर और सुचारू शिपमेंट के लिए बेहतर विश्वास होगा।

 

तिरुपुर बाजार में 30 काउंट कंबेड, 40 काउंट कंबेड और 40 काउंट कार्डेड के सूती धागे में 2-5 रुपये प्रति किलो की बढ़ोतरी हुई। 30 काउंट कॉम्बेड कॉटन यार्न 360-370 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम, 34 काउंट कॉम्बेड 365-375 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम और 40 काउंट कॉम्बेड 390-405 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम पर कारोबार कर रहा था। 30 काउंट कार्ड का सूत 330-325 रुपये किलो, 34 काउंट कार्ड 330-345 रुपये किलो और 40 काउंट कार्ड 340-350 रुपये किलो बिका।

 

वैश्विक बाजार में, ZCE कॉटन यार्न मई 2022 फ्यूचर्स CNY 390 से CNY 27,955 तक और सितंबर कॉन्ट्रैक्ट CNY 180 CNY से CNY 27,535 प्रति MT आज ट्रेड किया गया। ZCE कॉटन मार्च CNY 230 गिर गया और CNY 21,120 प्रति MT पर था, और मई अनुबंध CNY 190 से CNY 19,990 प्रति MT पर कारोबार कर रहा था।

 

व्यापक जिंस बाजारों में बिकवाली के बाद, आईसीई कपास वायदा ने सोमवार को तीन अंकों की हानि दर्ज की, जबकि चीन में जारी COVID-19 लॉकडाउन ने मूड पर प्रभाव डाला। कपास का 22 मई का अनुबंध 226 अंक गिरकर 118.77 सेंट पर, 22 जुलाई को 167 अंक नीचे 115.12 सेंट पर, 22 दिसंबर को 202 अंक की गिरावट के साथ 102.22 सेंट पर बंद हुआ था।

 

कताई मिलों की लिवाली बढ़ने के बीच कर्नाटक में मंगलवार को लगातार दूसरे सत्र में कपास की कीमतों में सुधार हुआ, जबकि दैनिक आवक स्थिर रही। देवदुर्गा मंडी में, 29 प्लस मिमी कपास की कीमत 80,000-81,000 रुपये प्रति कैंडी प्रति कैंडी (356 किलोग्राम) के बीच थी। रायचूर मंडी में 29 मिमी कपास की कीमत 76,000-80,200 रुपये प्रति कैंडी थी। बीजापुर में कपास की कीमत 78,000-84,000 रुपये प्रति कैंडी के बीच थी।

Mumbai: 15 Mar 2022:  The cotton yarn market of South India continued positive today due to better buying from downstream industry and costlier cotton.

 

Mumbai market witnessed price increase of Rs10 per 5 kg. Tiruppur market recorded price rise of Rs 2-5 per kg.

 

Traders were optimistic. Summer demand may pick up in domestic market. However, export demand is still uncertain.Spinning mills were increasing their offer prices as they are getting costlier cotton. Fabric producers were buying yarn in the anticipation of more price hike and better demand in the near future. The confidence of buyers gained for better demand from downstream industry. Recent price rise in cotton also justified costlier yarn prices. Garment units are getting orders from retailers and brands.

 

Yarn prices in Mumbai market increased by Rs10 per kg amid slightly better demand from garment units. 60 count carded cotton yarn of warp and weft varieties were traded at Rs1,910-2,010 per 5 kg and Rs1,720-1,790 per 5 kg respectively. Carded cotton yarn (44/46 count) of warp variety was traded at Rs1,720-1,760 per 5 kg. 80 count carded cotton yarn of weft variety was sold at Rs1,930-1.960 per 4.5 kg.

 

The market of Tiruppur also recorded higher demand from powerloom operators as they were getting orders from garment units. The trade activities were better than last week. Buyers coming in the market are serious for fresh buying. Earlier, they were negotiating for prices but reluctant to place order. Today, market conditions changed in one week.

 

But export demand is still uncertain despite continued talks between Russia and Ukraine. Fresh export orders and shipment schedules are disrupted due to war in these countries. Continued talks between the leaders of these countries has raised hopes for mutually acceptable agreement for ceasefire. Exporters and the market at large are monitoring recent developments. If a peace deal is achieved, exporters will have better confidence for new orders and smooth shipments.

 

In Tiruppur market, cotton yarn of 30 count combed, 40 count combed and 40 count carded increased by Rs 2-5 per kg. 30 count combed cotton yarn was traded at Rs 360-370 per kg, 34 count combed at Rs 365-375 per kg and 40 count combed at Rs 390-405 per kg. Cotton yarn of 30 count carded was sold at Rs 330-325 per kg, 34 count carded at Rs 330-345 per kg and 40 count carded at Rs 340-350 per kg.

 

In the global market, ZCE cotton yarn May 2022 futures traded down by CNY 390 to CNY 27,955 and September contract traded down by CNY 180 to CNY 27,535 per MT today. ZCE cotton March lost CNY 230 and was at CNY 21,120 per MT, and May contract traded down by CNY 190 to CNY 19,990 per MT.

 

ICE cotton futures posted triple digit loss on Monday, following a sell-off in broader commodities markets, while continued COVID-19 lockdowns in China impacted on mood. Cotton contract for May 22 closed at 118.77 cents, down 226 points, Jul 22 closed at 115.12 cents, down 167 points, Dec 22 closed at 102.22 cents, down 202 points.

 

Cotton prices improved in Karnataka for the second consecutive session on Tuesday amid increased buying by spinning mills, while daily arrivals remained stagnant. In Devdurga mandi, the price of 29 plus mm cotton was ruling between Rs 80,000-81,000 per candy of 356 kg each. In Raichur mandi, 29 mm cotton was priced at Rs 76,000-80,200 per candy. In Bijapur, cotton prices ranged from Rs 78,000-84,000 per candy.
