नई दिल्ली: 08 मई 2022:  भारत इटली के साथ व्यापार में महत्वपूर्ण परिवर्तनकारी और घातीय वृद्धि की आशा करता है। वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने कहा। उनके पास भारतीय वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्रालय के अलावा  उपभोक्ता मामले, खाद्य और सार्वजनिक वितरण और वस्त्र विभाग भी हैं।

 

उन्होंने इटली के विदेश मामलों और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सहयोग मंत्री लुइगी डि माओ के साथ नई दिल्ली में भारत-इटली व्यापार गोलमेज सम्मेलन की सह-अध्यक्षता की, जिन्होंने कहा कि इटली उद्योग स्तर पर और उद्यमियों के बीच सहयोग को सुदृढ़ करने के लिए उत्सुक है।

 

गोयल  ने कहा कि पर्यटन, सेवाओं, माल, सामान से लेकर डिजिटल दुनिया, शिक्षा और डिजाइन तक के क्षेत्रों में कई अवसर हैं। गोयल ने बैठक में अपने उद्घाटन भाषण में कहा कि भारत दुनिया में कहीं भी सबसे बड़ा व्यापार अवसर प्रदान करता है। हम आज 3 ट्रिलियन डॉलर की अर्थव्यवस्था से दस वर्षों में 10 ट्रिलियन डॉलर की अर्थव्यवस्था और 20 वर्षों में 30 ट्रिलियन डॉलर की अर्थव्यवस्था और 50 ट्रिलियन डॉलर की अर्थव्यवस्था की दिशा में प्रगति कर रहे हैं।

डि माओ ने कहा कि कई इतालवी कंपनियां, अपनी दीर्घकालिक रणनीति में, भारत को एक प्रमुख देश के रूप में मानती हैं, जिसका बाजार वैश्विक स्तर पर विकास को गति देगा।

 

भारत और इटली के बीच द्विपक्षीय व्यापार 2020-21 में रिकॉर्ड €10 बिलियन तक पहुंच गया।

Italy keen on industry-entrepreneurs-level cooperation with India

New Delhi: 08 May 2022:  India looks forward to significant transformational and exponential growth in trade with Italy. Commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal recently said. He co-chaired the India-Italy Business Roundtable in New Delhi with Italian minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation Luigi Di Maio, who said Italy is eager to reinforce cooperation at the industry level and between entrepreneurs.

 

Goyal said there are several opportunities in sectors ranging from tourism, services, merchandise, goods to digital world, education and design, according to a release from the Indian ministry of commerce and industry.

 

 “India offers the largest business opportunity anywhere in the world as we progress from a $3-trillion economy today to a $10-trillion economy in ten years to a $30-trillion economy in 20 odd years and to a $50-trillion economy,” said Goyal, in his opening remarks at the meeting.

 

“Many Italian companies, in their long term strategy, consider India as a key country whose market will drive growth on a global scale,” Di Maio added.

 

Bilateral trade between India and Italy reached a record €10 billion in 2020-21.
