मुंबई: 26 जुलाई 2022:  क्लोदिंग मैन्युफैक्चरर्स एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया (CMAI) ने हाल ही में संपन्न डायमंड जुबली संस्करण की तर्ज पर दुबई ग्लोबल कनेक्ट (DGC), दुबई और द सदर्न गुजरात चैंबर ऑफ कॉमर्स एंड इंडस्ट्री (SGCCI) के साथ दो समझौता ज्ञापनों (MoU) पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। सीएमएआई ने एक मीडिया विज्ञप्ति में कहा।  

 

इस समझौता से एसोसिएशन के सदस्यों को छूट और अन्य प्रोत्साहनों का लाभ मिलेगा। साथ ही डीजीसी के अद्वितीय शोरूम पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र से यह लाभान्वित होगा। यह डीजीसी को ज्ञान साझा करने, सूचना के आदान-प्रदान करने और मेजबान और विशेष कार्यक्रमों में भाग लेने के लिए सीएमएआई के 20,000+ सदस्यों को इस आधार के साथ जुड़ने की अनुमति देता है।

 

SGCCI के साथ समझौता ज्ञापन का उद्देश्य सूरत में तेजी से बढ़ते कपड़ा बाजार और परिधान क्षेत्र में इसकी गतिविधियों को और मजबूत करना है। सीएमएआई जल्द ही सूरत में एक क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय खोल रहा है। यह सूरत में परिधान गतिविधियों के विकास की दिशा में विभिन्न गतिविधियों का आयोजन करेगा। SGCCI इन गतिविधियों के लिए CMAI को अपना पूरा समर्थन देगा। सीएमएआई अपने विभिन्न क्षेत्रीय कार्यालयों और सदस्यों में एसजीसीसीआई की सभी गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा देने का भी उपक्रम करेगा।

 

दुबई ग्लोबल कनेक्ट में बिजनेस डेवलपमेंट के प्रमुख पॉल बूट्स ने कहा: "हम सीएमएआई के साथ इस समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर करने के लिए मुंबई में रोमांचित हैं और दुबई चैंबर इंटरनेशनल ऑफिस - भारत इस अवसर पर मौजूद है। हम वैश्विक संस्थाओं के साथ साझेदारी में बहुत महत्व देखते हैं जो दुबई के अद्वितीय व्यापार वातावरण और डीजीसी की भूमिका को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए भूमिका निभा सकते हैं। हम सीएमएआई और इसके सदस्यों के साथ काम करने और मूल्य जोड़ने के लिए तत्पर हैं।"

 

सीएमएआई के अध्यक्ष राजेश मसंद ने कहा, “सीएमएआई द्वारा अपने सदस्यों के हितों को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए यह एक और पहल है। हमारे कई घरेलू ब्रांड पहले से ही संयुक्त अरब अमीरात और अन्य जीसीसी देशों को आपूर्ति कर रहे हैं - और दुबई में प्रस्तावित हब इन सदस्यों के लिए अत्यधिक लाभकारी हो सकता है। हम इस पहल के माध्यम से एक बहुत ही उपयोगी मंच प्रदान करने और मध्य पूर्व के बाजार को खोलने की उम्मीद कर रहे हैं।"

 

SGCCI के अध्यक्ष हिमांशु बोडावाला ने कहा, "SGCCI में हम MoU से रोमांचित हैं और अपने संबंधित सदस्यों के लाभ के लिए गतिविधियों को जारी रखने के लिए तत्पर हैं।"

CMAI signs 2 MoUs with DGC & SGCCI

 

Mumbai: 26 Jul 2022:  The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) has signed two memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with Dubai Global Connect (DGC), Dubai, and The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) on the sidelines of the recently concluded diamond jubilee edition of the National Garment Fair.

 

The MoU with DGC will enable the association’s members to avail of special member benefits, including discounts and other incentives, and ultimately benefit from DGC’s unique showroom ecosystem. It also allows DGC to engage with CMAI’s 20,000+ membership base for knowledge sharing, information exchange, and host and attend special events, the CMAI said in a media release.

 

The MoU with SGCCI is intended to further strengthen the booming textile market in Surat and in its activities in the garment sector. CMAI which is shortly opening a regional office in Surat will be undertaking various activities towards the development of garmenting activities in Surat. SGCCI will be extending its full support to CMAI towards these activities. CMAI will also be undertaking to promote all the activities of SGCCI across its various regional offices and members.

 

Paul Boots, head of business development at Dubai Global Connect, said: “We are thrilled to be in Mumbai to sign this MoU with CMAI and are pleased the Dubai Chamber International Office - India is present for this occasion. We see great value in partnerships with global entities that recognize Dubai’s unique trade environment and the role that DGC can play to further business growth. Rajesh Masand, president of CMAI, added, “This is one more initiative taken by CMAI to further the interests of its members. Many of our domestic brands are already supplying to UAE and other GCC countries - and the proposed hub at Dubai can be of immense benefit to these members. We are hoping to provide a very useful platform and opening to the Middle East Market through this initiative.”

 

Himanshu Bodawala, president of SGCCI, stated, “We at SGCCI are thrilled with the MoU and looking forward to continue the activities for the benefit of our respective Members.”

 

Underlining this sentiment, Masand added, “SGCCI & CMAI have already worked together for nearly a year in the interest of our members, and I am delighted we have formalized the working with this signing of the MoU.”
