मुंबई: २०२२/०७/२६: कपड़ा व्‍यापार में पहले जैसा मुनाफा नहीं रहा। लोग कपड़ा व्‍यापार को धीरे धीरे छोड़कर दूसरे व्‍यापारों में जा रहे हैं। हिंदुस्‍तान चैंबर ऑफ कामर्स के Patron  उत्‍तम जैन ने कहा। वे मेसर्स चेतनकुमार एंड कंपनी के औनर हैं। वे फिल्‍म सेंसर बोर्ड के भी मेंबर हैं।

 

वे कहते हैं कि कपड़ा आज हमारी आवश्‍यकताओं के फेहरिस्‍त में दसवें नंबर पर आ चुका है। रोटी कपड़ा और मकान में आज भी रोटी पहले नंबर पर मकान दूसरे नंबर पर टिके हैं लेकिन कपड़ा हमारी आवश्‍यकताओं की लिस्‍ट में दसमें नम्‍बर पर आ चुका है। आज की तारीख में कपड़ा व्‍यापार अच्‍छे दौर में नहीं ह‍ै। लोग बाग कपड़ों को अब उतना महत्‍व नहीं देते हैं। उनको माबाइल चाहिए। और भी दूसरी ज़रूरियात हैं। आदमी की अमदनी तो फिक्‍स है। पहले खर्चे ज्‍यदा नहीं थे। लोग कपड़ा पर अच्‍छा ख़र्च कर पाते थे। आज दूसरे खर्चे बढ़ गए।

 

श्री जैन ने कहा कि खाने का खर्च उतना नहीं बढ़ा। औसतन गत बीस सालों में दो से ढाई गुणा बढ़ा है। लेकिन लोगों के फालतू खर्च बेतहासा बढ़ गए। उन्‍होंने कहा कि पढ़ाई लिखई पर खर्चे कइ गुणा बढ़ गए हैं। बदले में लोग कपड़ों पर सबसे ज्‍यादा कटौती करने लगे हैं। इसके अलावा आज जो कपड़े बनते हैं। वे ज्‍यादा टिकाउ होते हैं। वे जल्‍दी फटते ही नहीं हैं। इसके अलावा आज भारत के बाजारों में रीयुज्‍़ड कपड़े भी मिलते हैं।

 

मगर उन्‍होंने माना कि टेक्‍सटाइल का भविष्‍य अच्‍छा है। आज टेक्‍सटाइल का व्‍यपार सिमित बड़े बड़े व्‍यापरियों के हाथ में सिमटता जा रहा है। बाक़ी लोग उनके सपलायर रह जाएंगे। इस तरह छोटे व्‍यापारी भी अपना अस्‍तित्‍व बरकरार रखेंगे।

MUMBAI: 2022/07/26: The profits in the textile business are not as good as before. People are slowly leaving the textile business and going to other trades. Uttam Jain, Patron of the Hindustan Chamber of Commerce said. He is the owner of M/s Chetankumar & Co. He is also a member of the film censor board.

 

He says that today the cloth has come at number ten on the list of our needs. Even today, food and housing remain at number one and number two in priorities, but the cloth has come at number ten on the list of our needs. Today the textile trade is not in a good phase. People don't give much importance to clothes anymore. They need a mobile. There are other needs as well. Man's income is fixed. Earlier the expenses were not much. People were able to spend handsomely on clothes. Today other expenses have increased.

 

Mr. Jain said that the cost of food did not increase that much. On an average, it has increased two to two and a half times in the last twenty years. But the extravagant expenditure of the people increased tremendously. He said that the expenditure on education has increased manifold. In return, people have started making maximum cuts on clothes. Apart from this, the clothes that are made today,  are more durable. They don't explode quickly. Apart from this, reused clothes are also available in the Indian markets today.

 

But he believes that the future of textiles is good. Today the trade of textiles is limited to the hands of big businessmen. The rest will survive as their suppliers. In this way, small traders will also retain their existence.
