Govt to rope in more industry partners under SAMARTH scheme।। सरकार समर्थ योजना के तहत और अधिक उद्योग भागीदारों को जोड़ेगी

  

नई दिल्ली: 2023/03/04: सरकार कपड़ा क्षेत्र में कौशल विकास के लिए अपनी प्रमुख समर्थ योजना के तहत प्रशिक्षण की गति बढ़ाने के लिए और अधिक उद्योग भागीदारों को जोड़ने की योजना बना रही है। कपड़ा सचिव रचना शाह ने यहां एक संवाददाता सम्मेलन को संबोधित करते हुए कहा।

 

सरकार का लक्ष्य देश के कपड़ा क्षेत्र को वर्तमान में 150-155 बिलियन अमरीकी डालर से 2030 तक 250 बिलियन अमरीकी डालर का बनाना है।

 

रचना शाह ने कहा, "इस तरह के विकास के लिए यह बेहद जरूरी है कि हमारे पास एक कुशल जनशक्ति भी उपलब्ध हो।"

 

उन्होंने कहा कि योजना के तहत अब तक प्रशिक्षित 1.5 लाख लाभार्थियों में से 85 प्रतिशत से अधिक महिलाएं हैं।

 

उन्होंने कहा कि संगठित क्षेत्र के पाठ्यक्रमों में प्रशिक्षित 70 प्रतिशत से अधिक लाभार्थियों को प्लेसमेंट प्रदान किया गया है।

 

उन्होंने कहा, "अब तक आवंटित 3.47 लाख लाभार्थियों के कौशल लक्ष्य में से 1.5 लाख लाभार्थियों को प्रशिक्षण दिया जा चुका है।"

 

समर्थ योजना अगले साल मार्च को समाप्त वित्त वर्ष 2024 तक लागू की जा रही है।

 

शाह ने कहा, योजना की गति को जारी रखने और प्रशिक्षण की गति को बढ़ाने के लिए, "हमने हाल ही में अधिक उद्योग भागीदारों के लिए कौशल पहल में शामिल होने के लिए एक खिड़की खोली है।"

Govt to rope in more industry partners under SAMARTH scheme

 

New Delhi: 2023/03/04:  The government is planning to rope in more industry partners to increase the pace of training under its flagship SAMARTH scheme for skill development in the textile sector. Textile Secretary Rachna Shah said.

 

The government aims to make the country's textile sector worth USD 250 billion by 2030 from USD 150-155 billion at present.

 

Rachna Shah said "To have this kind of growth, it is extremely important that we also have a skilled manpower available."

 

Addressing a press conference here, she said that more than 85 per cent of the 1.5 lakh beneficiaries trained so far under the scheme are women.

 

Over 70 per cent of the beneficiaries trained in organised sector courses have been provided placement, she added.

 

"Out of the skilling target of 3.47 lakh beneficiaries allocated so far, 1.5 lakh beneficiaries have been provided training," she said.

 

The SAMARTH scheme is being implemented till FY2024 ending March next year.

 

To continue with the momentum of the scheme and to increase the pace of training, "we have recently opened a window for more industry partners to join the skilling initiative," Shah said.

 

She also said that implementing partners are to be physically verified through dedicated government agencies for ensuring adequacy of requisite infrastructure as per the protocol adopted for each course under the scheme.
