शिलांग: 2023/03/02: मेघालय में किसी भी पार्टी को बहुमत नहीं मिला। मुख्यमंत्री कोनराड संगमा की नेशनल पीपुल्स पार्टी (एनपीपी) 60 में से 26 सीटें पर जीत दर्ज की है। एनपीपी की पूर्व सहयोगी बीजेपी को 2 सीटें मिली है। कांग्रेस को तगड़ा झटका लगा है क्योंकि उसे सिर्फ 5 सीटों पर जीत मिली है।

 

मेघालय चुनाव परिणाम: सीएम कोनराड संगमा ने दक्षिण तुरा से जीत दर्ज की

 

45 वर्षीय संगमा ने 52.04 प्रतिशत वोट शेयर के साथ 13,342 वोट हासिल कर यह सीट जीती। उनके निकटतम प्रतिद्वंद्वी भारतीय जनता पार्टी के बर्नार्ड एन मारक को 8,326 मत मिले। संगमा की नेशनल पीपुल्स पार्टी और बीजेपी गठबंधन सहयोगी थे, लेकिन अलग-अलग चुनाव लड़े।

मेघालय के मुख्यमंत्री कोनराड के संगमा ने गुरुवार को भारत निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा घोषित परिणामों के अनुसार, दक्षिण तुरा सीट से चुनाव जीत लिया।

 

ईसीआई के मुताबिक त्रिशंकु विधानसभा में एनपीपी ने 26 सीटें जीती हैं। असम के मुख्यमंत्री और भाजपा नेता हिमंत बिस्वा सरमा ने ट्वीट कर कहा कि संगमा ने केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह को फोन किया और राज्य में सरकार बनाने के लिए 'समर्थन और आशीर्वाद' मांगा।

भाजपा ने कहा है कि वह राज्य में अगली सरकार बनाने के लिए आज रात एनपीपी को समर्थन पत्र सौंपेगी। “आज, शाम 6 बजे के आसपास, मुझे हमारे राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष जे पी नड्डा का फोन आया। उन्होंने मुझे राज्य भाजपा की एक बैठक बुलाने और सरकार गठन में एनपीपी को समर्थन देने के लिए कहा। मेघालय भाजपा के अध्यक्ष अर्नेस्ट मावरी ने पीटीआई को बताया, हम आज रात ही (मुख्यमंत्री) कोनराड संगमा को समर्थन पत्र सौंपने जा रहे हैं।

 

मेघालय में कांग्रेस को बड़ा झटका

 

- कांग्रेस, जिसने दशकों तक पूर्वोत्तर राज्य पर शासन किया, मेघालय में जमीन खोती दिख रही है। यह 5 सीटों पर सिमट गई, जो 2018 में हुए पिछले चुनाव में पार्टी को मिली जीत से 16 कम है। पिछले चुनावों में, कांग्रेस ने 59 सीटों पर चुनाव लड़ा था और 28.5 प्रतिशत वोटों के साथ 21 सीटों पर जीत हासिल की थी।

ैShillong: 2023/03/02: No party has got a majority in Meghalaya. Chief Minister Conrad Sangma's National People's Party (NPP) is on course to win 25 of 60 seats. NPP's former ally BJP is likely to win 3 seats. Congress has suffered a major setback as it has won only 5 seats.

 

Meghalaya Election Results: CM Conrad Sangma wins South Tura

 

Sangma, 45, won the seat by securing 13,342 with a vote share of 52.04 per cent. His nearest rival Bernard N Marak of the Bharatiya Janata Party got 8,326 votes. Sangma's National People's Party and the BJP were coalition partners but fought elections separately.

Meghalaya chief minister Conrad K Sangma on Thursday won the election from South Tura seat, as per the results announced by the Election Commission of India.

 

According to the results on ECI website for 59 out of 60 seats, the NPP has won 26 seats in a hung assembly. Assam chief minister and BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted saying that Sangma had called Union home minister Amit Shah and sought ‘support and blessings’ to form the government in the state. According to reports, Sangma had held meeting with Sarma in Guwahati earlier this week.

 

The BJP has said it will submit a letter of support to NPP tonight to form the next government in the state. “Today, around 6 pm, I got a call from our national president J P Nadda. He asked me to convene a meeting of the state BJP and extend support to the NPP in government formation. We are going to submit the letter of support to (CM) Conrad Sangma tonight itself”, Meghalaya BJP president Ernest Mawrie told PTI.

 

Big setback for Congress in Meghalaya

 

- Congress, which ruled the northeastern state for decades, appears to be losing ground in Meghalaya. It is leading on 5 seats, 16 less than what the party had got in the last election held in 2018. In the last polls, Congress contested 59 and won 21 seats with 28.5 per cent votes.

 

- In Meghalaya, preparations for the celebration are underway at CM Conrad Sangma's residence in Tura as his party has emerged as the largest with on 20-plus seats.

Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge said usually, northeast parties go with the central government trends but many leaders are committed to national politics. "They support Congress, secular parties, democracy, and the constitution. They feel that Congress, with the alliance, should come forward to form the government."

 

- Meghalaya's incumbent Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, along with his mother Soradini K Sangma, brother James Sangma and sister Agatha K Sangma, visited the grave of his father and former CM, PA Sangma in Tura.
