Maharashtra aims for investment boost, consolidation in textile sector !! कपड़ा क्षेत्र में निवेश को बढ़ावा देना, एकीकरण करना महाराष्ट्र का लक्ष्य है

मुंबई: 2024/01/04: तेजी से हो रहे  औद्योगीकरण के मद्देनज़र कपड़ा क्षेत्र  विभिन्न भारतीय राज्यों के लिए आकर्षक होता जा रहा है। नई कपड़ा नीति के लॉन्च के बाद, महाराष्ट्र 25,000 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश आकर्षित करने के लिए संरचनात्‍मक उपाय कर रहा है। राज्य कपड़ा-संबंधित निगमों को समेकित करने और कपड़ा आयुक्तालय और रेशम निदेशालय को एक इकाई में एकीकृत करने के लिए काम कर रहा है।

 

महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने तीन कपड़ा निगमों का विलय करके एक नया निगम स्थापित करने का निर्णय लिया है। महाराष्ट्र औद्योगिक विकास निगम (एमआईडीसी) के अनुरूप, प्रस्तावित महाराष्ट्र राज्य कपड़ा विकास निगम (एमएसटीडीसी) की स्थापना राज्य की नई एकीकृत और सतत कपड़ा उद्योग नीति 2023-28 के तहत की जाएगी। इसे मई 2023 में राज्य कैबिनेट द्वारा अनुमोदित किया गया था।

 

नई कपड़ा नीति का लक्ष्य निकट भविष्य में इस क्षेत्र में 25,000 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश आकर्षित करना और राज्य के कपास उत्पादन उद्योग में निवेश को बढ़ावा देना है। 

 

एमएसटीडीसी की स्थापना राज्य के तीन मौजूदा कपड़ा निगमों - महाराष्ट्र राज्य हथकरघा निगम, महाराष्ट्र राज्य पावरलूम निगम लिमिटेड और महाराष्ट्र राज्य कपड़ा निगम के विलय के बाद की जाएगी।

 

कपड़ा, वित्त, योजना, उद्योग और कानून और न्यायपालिका के सचिवों की एक समिति एमएसटीडीसी की स्थापना के लिए कानून का मसौदा तैयार करेगी। इसका उद्देश्य कपड़ा उद्योग के विकास के लिए एक टिकाऊ और उपजाऊ वातावरण विकसित करना है।

 

एमएसटीडीसी को एकीकृत और सतत कपड़ा नीति 2023-28 में घोषित एमआईडीसी की तर्ज पर वैधानिक रूप से स्थापित किया जाएगा।

 

नई नीति के अनुसार, कपड़ा आयुक्तालय और रेशम निदेशालय का भी विलय कर कपड़ा और रेशम आयुक्तालय बनाया जाएगा। और क्षेत्रीय स्तर पर कार्यालय क्षेत्रीय उपायुक्त-वस्त्र एवं रेशम के नाम से जाना जाएगा।

 

राज्य सरकार का नई नीति के तहत राज्य भर में छह तकनीकी कपड़ा पार्क स्थापित करने का भी लक्ष्य है। इस क्षेत्र की तीव्र वृद्धि सुनिश्चित करने के लिए महाराष्ट्र तकनीकी कपड़ा मिशन भी शुरू किया जाएगा।

Mumbai: 2024/01/04: The textile sector is becoming increasingly attractive to various Indian states for rapid industrialisation. Following the launch of the new textile policy, Maharashtra is taking structured measures to attract an investment of Rs 25,000 crore. The state is working to consolidate textile-related corporations and integrate the Textile Commissionerate and the Silk Directorate into a single entity.

 

The Maharashtra government has decided to establish a new corporation by merging three textile corporations. In line with the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), the proposed Maharashtra State Textile Development Corporation (MSTDC) will be set up under the state's new Integrated and Sustainable Textile Industry Policy 2023-28. It was approved by the state cabinet in May 2023.

 

The new textile policy aims to attract investment of Rs 25,000 crore in the sector in the near future and boost investment in the state's cotton production industry.  

MSTDC will be established following the merger of three existing textile corporations of the state – Maharashtra State Handloom Corporation, Maharashtra State Powerloom Corporation Ltd, and Maharashtra State Textile Corporation.

 

A committee of secretaries from textiles, finance, planning, industries, and law and judiciary will prepare a draft for the law to establish MSTDC. It is aimed at developing a sustainable and fertile environment for the textile industry's growth. 

The MSTDC will be statutorily set up on the lines of MIDC as announced in the Integrated and Sustainable Textile Policy 2023-28. 

According to the new policy, the Textile Commissionerate and the Silk Directorate will also merge to form the Textile and Silk Commissionerate. And the office at the regional level will be known as the Regional Deputy Commissioner – Textile and Silk. 

The state government also aims to establish six technical textile parks across the state under the new policy. The Maharashtra Technical Textiles Mission will also be undertaken to ensure the rapid growth of the sector.
