Indian cotton imports & exports estimate up, ending stocks may decline!! भारतीय कपास के आयात और निर्यात का अनुमान बढ़ा, अंतिम स्टॉक में आ सकती है गिरावट

  

मुंबई: 2024/05/14: 30 सितंबर, 2024 को समाप्त होने वाले चालू विपणन सत्र 2023-24 के दौरान भारत के कपास आयात और निर्यात दोनों में वृद्धि देखी गई है। कॉटन एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया (सीएआई) ने कपास आयात 20.40 होने का अनुमान लगाया है। प्रत्येक 170 किलोग्राम की लाख गांठें और निर्यात 22 लाख गांठें होंगी। सितंबर 2024 तक अंतिम स्टॉक 20 लाख गांठ होने का अनुमान है, जो पिछले सीज़न 2022-23 के अंतिम स्टॉक से कम होगा।

 

सीएआई फसल समिति ने 30 अप्रैल, 2024 तक अद्यतन एक रिपोर्ट जारी की है। इसने इस मामले पर क्षेत्रीय व्यापार संगठनों से जायजा लिया है। सीएआई ने अपनी रिपोर्ट में कहा है कि भारत में कपास आयात का अनुमान पहले के अनुमान के समान स्तर पर यानी 20.40 लाख गांठ पर बरकरार है, जबकि पिछले सीजन में 12.50 लाख गांठ का अनुमान लगाया गया था। इसलिए, कपास का आयात पिछले साल की तुलना में 7.90 लाख गांठ अधिक रहेगा। 30 अप्रैल, 2024 तक लगभग 5 लाख गांठें भारतीय बंदरगाहों पर पहुंचने का अनुमान है।

 

समिति ने अपने कपास निर्यात अनुमान को 22 लाख गांठ पर बरकरार रखा है, जो पिछले सीजन के अनुमानित 15.50 लाख गांठ निर्यात से 6.50 लाख गांठ अधिक है। 30 सितंबर 2024 तक अंतिम स्टॉक 20 लाख गांठ होने का अनुमान है, जबकि पिछले साल यह 28.90 लाख गांठ था।

 

सीएआई ने 2023-24 सीज़न के लिए कपास की खपत 317 लाख गांठ बनाए रखी है, जो पहले के अनुमान के बराबर ही है। चालू सीजन के पहले सात महीनों में 30 अप्रैल 2024 तक खपत 192.50 लाख गांठ होने का अनुमान है.

 

समिति ने थोड़े बदलाव के साथ कपास दबाव का अनुमान 309.70 लाख गांठ पर बरकरार रखा है। समिति ने पूरे वर्ष के लिए तेलंगाना के लिए कपास दबाव अनुमान को 1 लाख गांठ बढ़ाकर 34.00 लाख गांठ से 35.00 लाख गांठ कर दिया है। इस बीच, तमिलनाडु के लिए कपास दबाव का अनुमान 1 लाख गांठ घटाकर 6.50 लाख गांठ से 5.50 लाख गांठ कर दिया गया है।

 

Indian cotton imports & exports estimate up, ending stocks may decline

 

Mumbai: 2024/05/14: India’s cotton imports and exports have both seen an upward trend during the current marketing season 2023-24, ending on September 30, 2024. The Cotton Association of India (CAI) has estimated cotton imports to be 20.40 lakh bales of 170 kg each and exports to be 22 lakh bales. Ending stocks are estimated at 20 lakh bales until September 2024, which will be lower than the ending stock of the previous season, 2022-23.

 

The CAI crop committee has released a report updated until April 30, 2024. It has taken stock from regional trade organisations on the matter. CAI has stated in its report that the estimates of cotton imports into India are maintained at the same level as estimated earlier, i.e., at 20.40 lakh bales, compared to 12.50 lakh bales estimated for last season. Therefore, cotton imports will be 7.90 lakh bales higher than last year. Until April 30, 2024, about 5 lakh bales are estimated to have arrived at Indian ports.

 

The Committee has also retained its cotton exports estimate at 22 lakh bales, which are 6.50 lakh bales higher than the exports of 15.50 lakh bales estimated for last season. The closing stock as of 30 September 2024 is estimated at 20 lakh bales, compared to 28.90 lakh bales last year.

 

CAI has maintained cotton consumption for the 2023-24 season at 317 lakh bales, the same as estimated previously. Until April 30, 2024, the consumption is estimated at 192.50 lakh bales for the first seven months of the current season.

 

The Committee has retained its cotton pressing estimate at 309.70 lakh bales, with slight changes. The Committee has increased the cotton pressing estimate for Telangana for the entire year by 1 lakh bales, from 34.00 lakh bales to 35.00 lakh bales. Meanwhile, the cotton pressing estimate for Tamil Nadu has been reduced by 1 lakh bales, from 6.50 lakh bales to 5.50 lakh bales.
