जोधपुर: 2026/05/03: राजस्थान में नेशनल इंडस्ट्रियल कॉरिडोर प्रोग्राम के तहत विकसित किए जा रहे जोधपुर-पाली-मारवाड़ इंडस्ट्रियल एरिया (JPMIA) से लगभग ₹7,500 करोड़ ($790 मिलियन) का निवेश आकर्षित होने और लगभग 40,000 नौकरियाँ पैदा होने की उम्मीद है, जिसमें टेक्सटाइल और कपड़ों का सेक्टर मुख्य फोकस सेक्टरों में से एक है।

 

लगभग 1,578 एकड़ में फैला यह इंडस्ट्रियल नोड जोधपुर और पाली के बीच रणनीतिक रूप से स्थित है, और दोनों शहरों से लगभग 30 किमी दूर है। यह NH-62 और SH-64 के ज़रिए मज़बूत कनेक्टिविटी प्रदान करता है, साथ ही NH-25 और SH-68 तक भी पहुँच देता है, जिससे यह पश्चिमी राजस्थान में इंडस्ट्रियल और लॉजिस्टिक्स गतिविधियों के लिए एक प्रमुख केंद्र बन गया है।

 

इस प्रोजेक्ट को राजस्थान इंडस्ट्रियल कॉरिडोर डेवलपमेंट कॉर्पोरेशन (RIDCO) के ज़रिए लागू किया जा रहा है। यह एक स्पेशल पर्पस व्हीकल है जिसमें राजस्थान स्टेट इंडस्ट्रियल डेवलपमेंट एंड इन्वेस्टमेंट कॉर्पोरेशन (RIICO) और नेशनल इंडस्ट्रियल कॉरिडोर डेवलपमेंट कॉर्पोरेशन (NICDC) की इक्विटी हिस्सेदारी है। टारगेट सेक्टरों में टेक्सटाइल और कपड़े, एग्रो और फूड प्रोसेसिंग, इंजीनियरिंग सामान, ऑटोमोबाइल, हस्तशिल्प और बिल्डिंग मटीरियल शामिल हैं।

 

साइट की समीक्षा के दौरान, डिपार्टमेंट फॉर प्रमोशन ऑफ इंडस्ट्री एंड इंटरनल ट्रेड (DPIIT) के सेक्रेटरी अमरदीप सिंह भाटिया ने मुख्य इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर, प्रोजेक्ट मैनेजमेंट और समय-सीमा पर हुई प्रगति का आकलन किया, और समय पर काम पूरा करने और निवेशकों को सुविधा देने के लिए मिलकर प्रयास करने पर ज़ोर दिया।

 

अधिकारियों ने इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर और ऑपरेशनल चुनौतियों को हल करने, व्यापार करने में आसानी (Ease of Doing Business) को बेहतर बनाने, और इंडस्ट्रियल क्लस्टरों के भीतर इनोवेशन और टेक्नोलॉजी को अपनाने को बढ़ावा देने के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला। भाटिया ने कहा कि DPIIT, NICDC और राज्य सरकारों के बीच करीबी तालमेल, साथ ही स्टेकहोल्डर्स के साथ नियमित बातचीत, समय पर काम पूरा करने और निवेशकों का भरोसा बढ़ाने के लिए बहुत ज़रूरी होगी।

 

NICDC के CEO रजत कुमार सैनी ने मैन्युफैक्चरिंग में बढ़ोतरी और रोज़गार पैदा करने के लिए विश्व-स्तरीय इंडस्ट्रियल इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर और टिकाऊ इंडस्ट्रियल शहर बनाने की कॉर्पोरेशन की प्रतिबद्धता को दोहराया।

Jodhpur : 2026/05/03: The Jodhpur-Pali-Marwar Industrial Area (JPMIA), being developed under the National Industrial Corridor Programme in Rajasthan, is expected to attract investments of around ₹7,500 crore ($790 million) and generate nearly 40,000 jobs, with textiles and apparel among the key focus sectors.

 

Spread across approximately 1,578 acres, the industrial node is strategically located between Jodhpur and Pali, about 30 km from each city. It offers strong connectivity via NH-62 and SH-64, along with access to NH-25 and SH-68, positioning it as a key hub for industrial and logistics activities in western Rajasthan.

 

The project is being implemented through the Rajasthan Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (RIDCO), a special purpose vehicle with equity participation from Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) and National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC). Target sectors include textiles and apparel, agro and food processing, engineering goods, automobiles, handicrafts and building materials.

 

During a site review, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) Secretary Amardeep Singh Bhatia assessed progress on trunk infrastructure, project management and timelines, and emphasised coordinated efforts for timely execution and investor facilitation.

 

Officials highlighted the importance of addressing infrastructure and operational challenges, enhancing ease of doing business, and promoting innovation and technology adoption within industrial clusters. Bhatia noted that close coordination between DPIIT, NICDC and state governments, along with regular stakeholder consultations, will be critical to ensuring timely implementation and boosting investor confidence.

 

NICDC CEO Rajat Kumar Saini reiterated the corporation’s commitment to building world-class industrial infrastructure and sustainable industrial cities to drive manufacturing growth and employment generation.
