नई दिल्ली: 08/08/2026: प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने राष्ट्रीय हथकरघा दिवस पर भारत के नागरिकों को बधाई दी और देश की हथकरघा विरासत पर प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने उन बुनकरों और कारीगरों पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया जिनकी कारीगरी ने पीढ़ियों से पारंपरिक कपड़ा कौशल को जीवित रखा है।

 

हथकरघा वैल्यू चेन के लिए, इस संदेश ने इस सेक्टर के लिए सरकार के समर्थन को फिर से दोहराया। मोदी ने इसे ग्रामीण सशक्तिकरण, महिलाओं के नेतृत्व वाले विकास और 'आत्मनिर्भर भारत' के विज़न का एक महत्वपूर्ण स्तंभ बताया।

 

प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय (PMO) ने एक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति में कहा कि मोदी ने भारत के बुनकरों और कारीगरों के कौशल, रचनात्मकता और समर्पण को नमन किया। उन्होंने कहा कि उन्होंने अपनी कला के माध्यम से देश की सदियों पुरानी परंपराओं को संजोया और समृद्ध किया है।

 

भारत के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने X पर पोस्ट किया: "आज, राष्ट्रीय हथकरघा दिवस पर, हम भारत की समृद्ध और जीवंत हथकरघा विरासत का जश्न मना रहे हैं। हम अपने बुनकरों और कारीगरों के कौशल, रचनात्मकता और समर्पण को भी सलाम करते हैं। पीढ़ियों से, उन्होंने हमारी परंपराओं को संजोया और समृद्ध किया है।"

 

मोदी ने आगे कहा, "हमारी सरकार हथकरघा सेक्टर का समर्थन करना जारी रखेगी, जो ग्रामीण सशक्तिकरण, महिलाओं के नेतृत्व वाले विकास और 'आत्मनिर्भर भारत' के सपने को पूरा करने का एक महत्वपूर्ण स्तंभ है।"

 

उन्होंने नागरिकों से #NationalHandloomDay का उपयोग करके सोशल मीडिया पर अपने पसंदीदा हथकरघा उत्पादों और GRWM वीडियो को साझा करने का भी आग्रह किया। उन्होंने कहा कि इससे इस सेक्टर से जुड़े लोगों का उत्साह बढ़ेगा।

New Delhi:  2026/08/08:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the citizens of India on National Handloom Day and highlighted the country's handloom heritage, placing attention on weavers and artisans whose craftsmanship has sustained traditional textile skills across generations.

 

For the handloom value chain, the message reaffirmed government support for the sector, which Modi described as an important pillar of rural empowerment, women-led development and the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

 

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) in a press release said that Modi paid tribute to the skill, creativity and dedication of India's weavers and artisans, noting that they have preserved and enriched the country's timeless traditions through their craft.

 

Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India posted on X: "Today, on National Handloom Day, we celebrate India’s rich and vibrant handloom heritage. We also salute the skill, creativity and dedication of our weavers and artisans. For generations, they have preserved and enriched our traditions."

 

"Our Government will keep supporting the handloom sector, which is an important pillar of rural empowerment, women-led development and fulfilling the dream of an Atmanirbhar Bharat," added Modi.

 

He also urged citizens to share their favourite handloom products and GRWM videos on social media using #NationalHandloomDay, saying this would encourage people associated with the sector.
