नई दिल्ली: 2026/10/28: भारत टेक्स ट्रेड फेडरेशन (BTTF) ने 28 अक्टूबर 2026 को नई दिल्ली के ले मेरिडियन में अपनी 12वीं बोर्ड बैठक आयोजित की। इस बैठक में डॉ. ए. शक्तिवेल को नया अध्यक्ष और श्री भद्रेश दोधिया को पुनः सह-अध्यक्ष चुना गया। साथ ही, श्री सुधीर सेखरी को BTTF का कोषाध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया गया।

निवर्तमान अध्यक्ष श्री नरेन गोयनका और सह-अध्यक्ष श्री भद्रेश दोधिया ने नवनिर्वाचित नेतृत्व का स्वागत किया और फेडरेशन की निरंतर प्रगति और सफलता के लिए अपनी शुभकामनाएं दीं। यह बदलाव BTTF के उन सामूहिक प्रयासों को आगे बढ़ाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है, जिनका उद्देश्य वैश्विक कपड़ा और परिधान उद्योग में भारत की स्थिति को मजबूत करना है।

नए नेतृत्व के तहत, BTTF भारत की कपड़ा और परिधान निर्यात क्षमता को बढ़ाने, वैश्विक स्तर पर भारतीय कपड़ा उत्पादों की पहचान मजबूत करने और उद्योग से जुड़े हितधारकों के बीच सहयोग को बढ़ावा देने के लिए काम करना जारी रखेगा। नया प्रबंधन फेडरेशन की मौजूदा पहलों को आगे बढ़ाएगा, ताकि भारत को वैश्विक स्तर पर प्रतिस्पर्धी सोर्सिंग और विनिर्माण केंद्र के रूप में स्थापित किया जा सके। साथ ही, यह कपड़ा मूल्य श्रृंखला (टेक्सटाइल वैल्यू चेन) में बेहतर बाजार पहुंच, निवेश, नवाचार और अंतरराष्ट्रीय जुड़ाव का समर्थन करेगा।

नए नेतृत्व की एक प्रमुख प्राथमिकता 'भारत टेक्स 2027' का सफल आयोजन होगा, जो 31 मार्च से 3 अप्रैल 2027 तक आयोजित किया जाना है। भारत सरकार के कपड़ा मंत्रालय के सहयोग से और BTTF द्वारा आयोजित 'भारत टेक्स' एक प्रमुख वैश्विक मंच के रूप में उभरा है, जो कपड़ा और परिधान मूल्य श्रृंखला से जुड़े सभी हितधारकों को एक साथ लाता है। आगामी संस्करण पिछले तीन संस्करणों की सफलता को और आगे बढ़ाएगा। इसमें अंतरराष्ट्रीय भागीदारी बढ़ाने, व्यावसायिक साझेदारियों को सुविधाजनक बनाने, भारतीय कपड़ा क्षमताओं को बढ़ावा देने और निर्यात के अवसरों को मजबूत करने पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाएगा। नेतृत्व परिवर्तन पर टिप्पणी करते हुए, निवर्तमान चेयरमैन श्री नरेन गोयनका ने कहा, "भारत टेक्स ट्रेड फेडरेशन का नेतृत्व करना और वैश्विक स्तर पर भारत के टेक्सटाइल और परिधान उद्योग को मजबूत करने के प्रयासों में योगदान देना मेरे लिए सौभाग्य की बात रही है। मुझे पूरा विश्वास है कि नया नेतृत्व अब तक हुई प्रगति को और आगे बढ़ाएगा, खरीदारों के साथ संबंधों को और गहरा करेगा, तथा भारत के टेक्सटाइल निर्यात के लक्ष्यों को और आगे ले जाएगा। मैं नए नेतृत्व को उनके प्रयासों के लिए शुभकामनाएं देता हूँ।"

नए चेयरमैन डॉ. ए. शक्तिवेल ने कहा, "भारत के टेक्सटाइल और परिधान उद्योग के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण समय पर भारत टेक्स ट्रेड फेडरेशन का नेतृत्व करने की जिम्मेदारी मिलना मेरे लिए सम्मान की बात है। हमारा ध्यान वैश्विक बाजारों में भारत की स्थिति को मजबूत करने, निर्यात के अवसरों का विस्तार करने और अंतरराष्ट्रीय खरीदारों के साथ जुड़ाव बढ़ाने पर होगा। 'भारत टेक्स 2027' भारत की क्षमताओं को प्रदर्शित करने, सार्थक व्यावसायिक साझेदारियां बनाने और एक प्रमुख वैश्विक टेक्सटाइल और परिधान केंद्र के रूप में भारत की स्थिति को और मजबूत करने के लिए एक अहम मंच साबित होगा।"

 

Bharat Tex Trade Federation Elects New Chairman and Co-Chairman at its 12th Board Meeting at New Delhi

 

New Delhi: 2026/10/28: The Bharat Tex Trade Federation (BTTF) held its 12th Board Meeting on 28th October 2026 at Le Méridien, New Delhi, during which Dr. A. Sakthivel was elected as the new Chairman and Shri Bhadresh Dodhia was re-elected as the Co-Chairman, along with Shri Sudhir Sekhri as the Treasurer of BTTF.

The outgoing Chairman, Shri Naren Goenka, and Co-Chairman, Shri Bhadresh Dodhia, welcomed the newly elected leadership and conveyed their best wishes for the Federation’s continued growth and success. The transition marks an important step in furthering BTTF’s collective efforts to strengthen India’s position in the global textile and apparel industry.

Under the new leadership, BTTF will continue to work towards advancing India’s textile and apparel export potential, enhancing the global visibility of Indian textile products, and strengthening collaboration among industry stakeholders. The new management will build on the Federation’s existing initiatives to promote India as a globally competitive sourcing and manufacturing destination, while supporting greater market access, investment, innovation and international engagement across the textile value chain.

 

A key priority for the incoming leadership will be the successful organization of Bharat Tex 2027, scheduled to be held from 31 March to 3 April 2027. Supported by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, and organized by BTTF, Bharat Tex has emerged as a major global platform bringing together stakeholders from across the textile and apparel value chain. The upcoming edition will build on the success of previous three editions, with a continued focus on expanding international participation, facilitating business partnerships, promoting Indian textile capabilities and strengthening export opportunities.

Commenting on the leadership transition, the outgoing Chairman, Shri Naren Goenka, said, “It has been a privilege to lead the Bharat Tex Trade Federation and contribute to its efforts towards strengthening India’s textile and apparel industry on the global stage. I am confident that the incoming leadership will build on the progress made so far, deepen the buyer-connect and further advance India’s textile export ambitions. I extend my best wishes to the new leadership for its endeavours.”

The incoming Chairman, Dr. A. Sakthivel, said, “I am honoured to take on the responsibility of leading the Bharat Tex Trade Federation at a pivotal time for India’s textile and apparel industry. Our focus will be on strengthening India’s position in global markets, expanding export opportunities and enhancing engagement with international buyers. Bharat Tex 2027 will be a key platform to showcase India’s capabilities, facilitate meaningful business partnerships and reinforce India’s standing as a leading global textile and apparel hub”.

Dr. A. Sakthivel is also the Chairman of the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC).

The Co-Chairman, Shri Bhadresh Dodhia, added, “Having served two terms as the Co-Chairman of BTTF, I am pleased to continue contributing to the Federation’s objectives and work alongside the new Chairman and the wider industry. Going forward, we will continue to focus on strengthening industry partnerships, enhancing international market linkages and ensuring that Bharat Tex 2027 delivers greater opportunities for Indian exporters and manufacturers”.
