मुंबई: 23 फरवरी 2022:  भारत में पॉलिएस्टर-कॉटन यार्न में कीमतों में भारी बढ़ोतरी  सकती है। ब्रेंट क्रूड ऑयल की कीमत आसमान छू रही है। यह 100 डॉलर प्रति बैरल के करीब पहुंच गया है। कच्चे तेल की कीमतों में वृद्धि मुख्य रूप से रूस-यूक्रेन तनाव में वृद्धि के कारण होने वाली  आपूर्ति बाधा कारण हुई है। इससे पॉलिएस्टर स्टेपल फाइबर (PSF) और पॉलिएस्टर-कॉटन (PC) यार्न महंगा हो जाएगा।

 

पिछले एक सप्ताह में पीसी यार्न की कीमतों में कीमतों में वृद्धि नहीं हुई। कपड़े निर्माताओं की कमजोर मांग ने बाजार का समर्थन नहीं किया। लेकिन पीसी यार्न में अब ऊपर की ओर रुझान देखने को मिल सकता है। हाल के भू-राजनीतिक घटनाक्रमों के कारण कच्चे तेल की कीमत बढ़ रही है।

 

अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में कच्चे तेल की कीमत बढ़ी है।  व्यापारियों को रूस से आपूर्ति बाधित होने की आशंका थी। रूस विश्व बाजार का एक प्रमुख आपूर्तिकर्ता है। अमेरिका और यूरोप ने रूस के खिलाफ प्रतिबंधों की घोषणा पहले ही शुरू कर दी है।

 

पहले, कपास की कीमतों में वृद्धि से पीसी यार्न को समर्थन मिल रहा था। लेकिन अब लगता है कि स्थिति उलट गई है। कपास और सूती धागे की कीमतों में पिछले दो सप्ताह में नरमी आई है। लेकिन पीसी यार्न को कच्चे तेल की कीमतों में बढ़ोतरी से समर्थन मिलेगा। इससे सूती धागे की कीमतें भी बढ़ेंगी। हालांकि गारमेंट विनिर्माताओं की कमजोर मांग से बाजार का सेंटीमेंट प्रभावित हो सकता है। पीसी यार्न की कीमतें पॉलिएस्टर स्पून फाइबर और कॉटन की कीमत में उतार-चढ़ाव पर निर्भर करती हैं। कच्चे तेल में तेजी के कारण पीएसएफ की कीमतें नियमित रूप से बढ़ रही थीं। फरवरी में ही पीएसएफ करीब 8 फीसदी महंगा हो गया है।

 

देश के सबसे प्रमुख मानव निर्मित यार्न बाजार लुधियाना में, पीसी कॉम्बेड यार्न (48/52) 290-300 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम के हिसाब से बेचा गया। पीसी कार्डेड यार्न (65/35) की कीमत 240-250 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम थी। पीसी (रिसाइकिल्‍ड) यार्न ओ/ई (40/60) का कारोबार 223-225 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम था। ऐक्रेलिक एनएम (2/48) की कीमत 340-345 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम और ऐक्रेलिक एनएम (2/32) 280-285 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम थी।

 

कच्चे तेल की कीमतों में वृद्धि होने पर शुद्ध टेरेफ्थेलिक एसिड (पीटीए) और मोनोएथिलीन ग्लाइकोल (एमईजी) की कीमतें बढ़ रही हैं। इससे पीएसएफ की कीमत बढ़ जाती है।

 

 इंडोरामा का PSF (1.4 डेनियर) वर्तमान में 120 रुपये  प्रति किलोग्राम पर बिक रहा था, जबकि 15 फरवरी को 116 रुपये  प्रति किलोग्राम और 1 फरवरी को 112 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम था।

Poly-cotton yarn prices may go up due to hike in crude oil

 

Mumbai: 23 Feb 2022:  There may  be a  steep hike in prices of polyester-cotton yarn segment in India.  The Brent crude oil neared to $100 per barrel. The rise in crude oil prices is due to the supply disruption primarily because of escalation in Russia-Ukraine tension. This will result in costlier polyester staple fibre (PSF) and polyester-cotton (PC) yarn.

 

The price of PC yarn prices did not rise in the last one week. There has been a weak demand from fabric manufacturers. It did not support the market. But PC yarn may now witness upside trend as crude oil price is rising due to recent geo-political developments.

 

The prices of Crude oil sharply increased in international market. Traders feared that the supply from Russia will be disrupted. Russia  is the major supplier to the world market. The US and Europe have already started sanctions against Russia.

 

PC yarn was getting support from the rise in cotton prices earlier. But now the situation seems to have been reversed. Cotton and cotton yarn prices softened in the last two weeks. But PC yarn will find support from hike in crude oil prices. It will push up prices of cotton yarn also. However, subdued demand from garment manufacturers may affect market sentiments. PC yarn prices depend on the price fluctuation of polyester spun fibre and cotton. PSF prices were increasing regularly due to rise in crude oil. PSF has become costlier by about 8 per cent in February itself.

 

In Ludhiana, the country’s most prominent man-made yarn market, PC combed yarn (48/52) was sold at Rs290-300 per kg. PC carded yarn (65/35) was priced at Rs 240-250 per kg, while PC (recycled) yarn O/E (40/60) was traded at Rs 223-225 per kg. Acrylic NM (2/48) was priced at Rs 340-345 per kg, and acrylic NM (2/32) at Rs 280-285 per kg.

 

The prices of purified terephthalic acid (PTA) and monoethylene glycol (MEG) are increasing. This in turn increases the price of PSF. Indorama’s PSF (1.4 Denier) was currently being sold at Rs 120 per kg, compared to Rs 116 per kg on February 15 and Rs 112 per kg in February 1.
