नई दिल्‍ली: 23 मार्च 2022:  प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में आर्थिक मामलों की भारत की कैबिनेट समिति ने 2022-23 सीज़न के लिए कच्चे जूट (TD5 ग्रेड के बराबर TDN3) के लिए न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य (MSP) को 4,750 रुपये प्रति क्विंटल की मंजूरी दे दी। पिछले वर्ष की तुलना में 250 रु. की बृदिध की गई है। यह अनुमोदन कृषि लागत और मूल्य आयोग की सिफारिशों पर आधारित है। कृषि और किसान कल्याण ने एक प्रेस विज्ञप्ति में कहा। 

 

नया एमएसपी उत्पादन की अखिल भारतीय भारित औसत लागत पर 60.53 प्रतिशत की वापसी सुनिश्चित करेगा। 2022-23 सीज़न के लिए कच्चे जूट की घोषित एमएसपी, 2018-19 के बजट में सरकार द्वारा घोषित उत्पादन की अखिल भारतीय भारित औसत लागत के कम से कम 1.5 गुना के स्तर पर एमएसपी तय करने के सिद्धांत के अनुरूप है।

नया एमएसपी लाभ के मार्जिन के रूप में न्यूनतम 50 प्रतिशत का भी आश्वासन देता है। मंत्रालय ने कहा कि यह जूट उत्पादकों को बेहतर पारिश्रमिक रिटर्न सुनिश्चित करने और गुणवत्ता वाले जूट फाइबर को प्रोत्साहित करने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण और प्रगतिशील कदमों में से एक है।

 

भारतीय पटसन निगम (जेसीआई) मूल्य समर्थन संचालन करने के लिए केंद्र सरकार की नोडल एजेंसी के रूप में जारी रहेगा और इस तरह के संचालन में होने वाले नुकसान की पूरी तरह से केंद्र सरकार द्वारा प्रतिपूर्ति की जाएगी।

Indian govt sets MSP of raw jute at ₹4750 per quintal for 2022-23

New Delhi: 23 Mar 2022:  India’s Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved Minimum Support Price (MSP) for raw jute (TDN3 equivalent to TD5 grade) at Rs4,750 per quintal for 2022-23 season, with an increase of Rs250 over the previous year. The approval is based on recommendations of the Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices. The ministry of agriculture and farmers welfare said in a press release.

 

The new MSP would ensure a return of 60.53 per cent over all India weighted average cost of production. The announced MSP of raw jute for 2022-23 season is in line with the principle of fixing the MSP at a level of at least 1.5 times all India weighted average cost of production as announced by the government in Budget 2018-19.

 

The new MSP also assures a minimum of 50 per cent as margin of profit. It is one of the important and progressive steps towards ensuring better remunerative returns to the jute growers and to incentivise quality jute fibre, the ministry said.

 

The Jute Corporation of India (JCI) will continue as central government Nodal Agency to undertake price support operations and the losses incurred, if any, in such operations, will be fully reimbursed by the central government.
