चेन्नई: 21 मार्च 2022: भारतीय राज्य तमिलनाडु ने अपने बजट 2022-23 में राज्य में कपास के विकास को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए स्थायी कपास की खेती मिशन शुरू किया है। इसने कपास की पैदावार बढ़ाने के लिए बजट में 15.32 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए हैं। प्रेस विज्ञप्ति में कहा गया है।

 

राज्य के कृषि बजट में किसानों के लाभ के लिए राज्य ने कृषि विभाग को 33,007.68 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए हैं, जबकि कपास की पैदावार बढ़ाने के लिए 15.32 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए गए हैं।

 

तमिलनाडु का कपड़ा उद्योग मुख्य रूप से कपास आधारित है। यह भारत के कुल कपड़ा व्यवसाय का 1/3 हिस्सा है और 60 लाख से अधिक लोगों को प्रत्यक्ष रोजगार प्रदान करता है।

 

राज्य के कपड़ा उद्योग को सालाना 120 लाख गांठ (प्रत्येक में 170 किलोग्राम) कपास की आवश्यकता होती है। यह प्रति वर्ष केवल 5 लाख गांठ का उत्पादन करता है। राज्य की कताई मिलें अन्य राज्यों से कपास लाने के लिए परिवहन पर 3 रुपये से 6 रुपये प्रति किलो के बीच खर्च करती हैं।

 

 

सरकार ने किसानों को मुफ्त बिजली आपूर्ति के लिए 5,157.56 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए हैं! राज्य भर में किसानों के लिए 3,000 सौर ऊर्जा संचालित पंप सेट स्थापित किया जाएगा। श्रमिकों की कमी को दूर करने के लिए मशीनरी का उपयोग करने के लिए लगभग 150 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए गए हैं।

 

50,000 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक के निवेश को आकर्षित करने के लिए वेल्लोर, कोयंबटूर और पेरम्बलुर सहित 5 जिलों में विकसित किए जाने वाले नए औद्योगिक पार्क राष्ट्र के आर्थिक विकास में काफी वृद्धि करेंगे।

 

14 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि दर का महत्वाकांक्षी लक्ष्य तमिलनाडु में कपड़ा उद्योग को उत्पादन बढ़ाने, हरित क्षेत्र परियोजनाओं में निवेश करने आदि के लिए प्रोत्साहित करेगा। तिरुपुर सहित प्रमुख निर्यात केंद्रों में निर्यात बुनियादी ढांचे के विकास की घोषणा से लाभ होगा। कपड़ा उद्योग अपने निर्यात को बढ़ावा देने के लिए

Tamil Nadu launches sustainable cotton cultivation mission

 

Chennai: 21 Mar 2022:  Indian state of Tamil Nadu has launched the sustainable cotton cultivation mission to encourage cotton development in the state in its Budget 2022-23. It has allocated Rs 15.32 crore in the budget to enhance the cotton yield. The press release stated.

 

The state has allocated Rs33,007.68 crore to the Agriculture Department in the State Agriculture Budget to benefit the farmers, while Rs 15.32 crore has been allocated to enhance the cotton yield.

 

Tamil Nadu’s textile industry is predominantly cotton based. It accounts for 1/3rd of India’s total textile business and provides direct jobs to over 60 lakh people.

 

The state’s textile industry requires 120 lakh bales of cotton annually (170 kgs each). It produces only 5 lakh bales per year. The spinning mills in the state spend between Rs 3 and Rs 6 per kg towards transportation to source cotton from other states.

 

 

The government has allocated Rs 5,157.56 crore for free electricity supply to the farmers and will set up 3,000 solar powered pump sets for farmers across the state. About Rs150 crore has been allocated to use machinery to overcome labour shortage.

 

The new industrial parks to be developed in 5 districts including in Vellore, Coimbatore and Perambalur to attract over Rs50,000 crores investments would considerably increase the economic growth of the nation.

 

The ambitious target of 14 per cent growth rate would encourage the textile industry in Tamil Nadu to scale up the production, make investments in green field projects, etc. The announcement of export infrastructure development in major export hubs including Tiruppur which would benefit the textile industry to boost its exports.
