मुंबई : २०२२ मार्च  ०३: फरवरी २०२२ से गार्मेंट उद्योग  ने रिकवर करना आरंभ कर दिया है। क्‍लोदिंग मैनूफैक्‍चरर्स ऐसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया के पूर्व अध्‍यक्ष राहुल मेहता ने यह जानकारी ७४ वें  नैशनल गार्मेंट फेयर के अवसर पर टेक्‍सटाइल पोस्‍ट को दी।   

 

उन्‍होंने कहा कि  हमे उम्‍मीद थी कि दीपावली के पश्‍चात  से कारोबार रूटीन में आ जाएगा। मगर ऐसा नहीं हुआ। जनवरी में वापस ओमीक्रोन की  लहर आ गयी । जनवरी माह व्‍यापार की नजर से काफी खराब रहा। लॉकडाउन फिर चालू हो गया। फरवरी से अच्‍छी रिकवरी हो रही है। डीलरों का रेस्‍पोंस अच्‍छा है। हमारी उम्‍मीद काफी अच्‍छी है। लगता है कि अप्रैल, मई से व्‍यापार रेगुलर हो जाएगा।

 

श्री मेहता ने कहा कि हम २०१९ के स्‍तर तक पहुंच रहे हैं। लेकिन दो साल जो गये , उसकी भरपाई नहीं हो सकती। हमारा १० से १२ प्रतिशत का ग्रोथ होता था। वो ग्रोथ रुक गया।

 

इस दौरान गार्मेंट बाजार में से काफी उत्‍पादक बाहर हो गए।  १२ से १५ प्रतिशत फैक्‍ट्रीज  स्‍थायी रूप से बंद हो गयीं। कुछ उत्‍पादक इसे झेल नहीं सके। कुछ दूसरे लोग, जो लोन लेकर काम कर रहे थे, उन्‍होंने भी अपना कारोबार समेट लिया। बहुत लोग जो हर साल मशीनों की संख्‍या बढ़ा रहे थे और अपनी उत्‍पादन की कैपेसिटी बढ़ा रहे थे, उन्‍होंने कैपेसिटी बढ़ाना रोक दिया। प्रोडक्‍शन में १५ प्रतिशत की गिरावट हुई है। फिर भी यदि मार्च २०२० से मार्च २०२२ की गणना करें तो हम २०१९ के स्‍तर तक पहुंच गए हैं। साइक्‍लिंग शुरू हो रही है। व्‍यापारियों में उत्‍साह का माहौल है।   

 

उन्‍होंने कहा कि पिछला समय गार्मेंट उद्योग के लिए कठिन और प्रतिकूल रहा है। गार्मेंट उद्योग का आउटलेट रिटेल स्‍टोर्स हैं। लॉकडाउन होने पर सबसे पहले रिटेल आउटलेट बंद किए  गए। मॉल्‍स बंद किए गए। जब मार्केट खुलना प्रारंभ हुआ तो रिटेल आउटलेट अंत में खोले गए।

 

उन्‍होंने कहा कि २०२० में भी लॉकडाउन था । २०२१ में भी लॉकडाउन था। इस दौरान गार्मेंट इंडस्‍ट्री बंद रही। फैक्‍ट्री को पर्मिशन मिला था। मगर फैक्‍ट्री खोल कर क्‍या करें? दुकानें बंद थीं। इस कारण गार्मेंट उद्योग को बहुत नुकसान उठाना पड़ा। मगर अब फरवरी से इस उद्योग ने आगे का सफर शुरू कर दिया है। अच्‍छी रिकवरी हो रही है। डीलरों का रिस्‍पोंस अच्‍छा है। हमारी उम्‍मीद काफी अच्‍छी है। लगता है कि अप्रैल, मई से व्‍यापार रेगुलर हो जाएगा।

Mumbai: 2022 March 03: From February 2022, the garment industry has started making a recovery. Rahul Mehta, former President of Clomading Manufacturers Association of India gave this information to Textile Post on the occasion of the 74th National Garment Fair.

 

He said that we expected that from December-January the business would come into the routine. But it didn't happen. Omicron's web arrived in January. January was very bad from the business point of view. The lockdown started again. There is a good recovery since February. The response from the dealers is good. Our hope is pretty good. It seems that from April May the business will become regular.

 

Mr. Mehta said that we are reaching the level of 2019. But what has gone during two years cannot be compensated. We used to grow 10 to 12 percent. That growth stopped.

 

During this period, many producers became out of the garment market. 12 to 15 percent of factories were closed permanently. Some producers could not bear it. Some other people, who were working by dint of loan, also closed their business. Many people who were increasing the number of machines every year and were increasing their production capacity, they stopped increasing the capacity. Production has declined by 15%. However, if we calculate from March to March, we have reached the level of 2019. Cycling is starting. There is an atmosphere of enthusiasm in the business circles.

 

He said that the past has been tough and unfavorable for the garment industry. The outlets of the garment industry are retail stores. At first, the retail outlets are being closed during lockdowns. Malls are closed first. The retail outlet opens at the last when the market opens.

 

He said that there was a lockdown in 2020. There was also a lockdown in 2021 as well. During this, the garment industry remained closed. Factories got permission. But what to do by opening the factory? Shops were closed. Due to this, the garment industry suffered a lot. But now from February, this industry has started the journey ahead. Good recovery is going on. Responses from dealers are good. Our hope is very fine. It seems that business will become regular from April-May.
