मुंबई: 2022/05/27: भारत में कपास और सूती धागे में रिकॉर्ड मूल्य वृद्धि ने घरेलू कपड़ा उद्योग को आयात की संभावनाओं का पता लगाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया है। कुछ भारतीय कंपनियों ने ताइवान से कपास और पॉलिएस्टर यार्न का आयात करना शुरू कर दिया है।

 

व्यापारियों को उम्मीद है कि अगर सूती धागे के आयात में तेजी आती है, तो सूती धागे की बेहतर आपूर्ति से घरेलू कीमतों पर दबाव पड़ सकता है।

देश में बुनाई खंड की कुछ बड़ी कंपनियों ने करीब 4000-5000 टन यार्न के आयात के सौदे किए हैं। आयातित धागे की पहुंच लागत घरेलू कीमतों की तुलना में लगभग 15-20 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम सस्ती होगी।

 

देश में यार्न के आयात के लिए इस तरह के और सौदों की उम्मीद है। सूती धागे के अलावा पॉलिएस्टर और मिश्रित धागे का भी आयात किया जा रहा है। देश में सूती धागे की ऊंची कीमतों के कारण ताइवान से आयात काफी संभव है। आयातित आपूर्ति यार्न की घरेलू बाजार कीमतों को कम कर सकती है। हालांकि, कम मात्रा में यार्न के आयात के सौदों से निकट भविष्य में घरेलू आपूर्ति में उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि नहीं हो सकती है।

 

भारतीय आयातों ने ताइवान के आपूर्तिकर्ताओं को आगे के सौदों के लिए उच्च कीमतों को उद्धृत करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया है। यदि ताइवान की आपूर्ति की कीमतों में वृद्धि होती है, तो आयात समता समाप्त हो जाएगी। ताइवान की आपूर्ति भारत में पहुंचने में कम से कम एक महीने का समय लगेगा। आपूर्ति जुलाई में आने की उम्मीद है, जब तक संभावित आयात के कारण घरेलू कपास की कीमतें भी सही हो सकती हैं। लेकिन उम्मीद है कि ताइवान की आपूर्ति घरेलू यार्न बाजार पर मनोवैज्ञानिक दबाव डाल सकती है।

Indian companies have begun to import cotton and polyester yarn from Taiwan

 

Mumbai: 2022/05/27:  Record price rise in cotton and cotton yarn in India has encouraged domestic textile industry to explore possibilities of imports. Some Indian companies have begun to import cotton and polyester yarn from Taiwan.

 

Traders expect that if cotton yarn imports pick up, better supply of cotton yarn may put pressure on domestic prices.

Some big companies of weaving segment in the country have made deals for import of about 4000-5000 tonnes of yarn. The landed cost of imported yarn will be around ₹15-20 per kg cheaper than the domestic prices.

 

More such deals are expected for import of yarn in the country. Apart from cotton yarn, polyester and blended yarn are also being imported. Due to the high prices of cotton yarn in the country, the import from Taiwan is quite feasible. Imported supplies can dampen domestic market prices of yarn. However, deals for imports of yarn in little quantity may not increase domestic supplies significantly in near future.

 

Indian imports have encouraged Taiwan's suppliers to quote higher prices for further deals. If there is an increase in prices of Taiwanese supply, import parity will be wiped out. It will take at least a month’s time for Taiwanese  supply to reach in India. The supply is expected to come in July only when, till then domestic cotton prices may also correct due to the prospective imports. But it is expected that Taiwanese supply can put psychological pressure on the domestic yarn market.
