Cotton yarn prices steady in south India, domestic demand weak।। दक्षिण भारत में सूती धागे की कीमतें स्थिर, घरेलू मांग कमजोर

 

मुंबई: 17 फरवरी 2023:  दक्षिण भारत का सूती धागे का बाजार आज स्थिर रहा। तिरुपुर में व्यापारिक गतिविधियां बढ़ीं। यहां सूत पुराने रेट पर बेचा गया। मुंबई के बाजार में घरेलू मांग सीमित रही। व्यापारियों ने बताया।

 

उच्च निर्यात ऑर्डर के कारण स्पिनरों में तेजी हो सकती है। डाउनस्ट्रीम उद्योग से घरेलू मांग उत्साहजनक नहीं रही है। खरीदार सतर्क थे।

 

मुंबई के बाजार में सूती धागे की कीमतों में मजबूती का रुख देखा गया। हालांकि इस सप्ताह की शुरुआत में सूती धागे की कीमतें बढ़ी थीं, लेकिन घरेलू उद्योग की मांग औसत रही। खरीदार अभी भी नए सौदों के बारे में सतर्क थे। इसलिए कीमतों में और सुधार नहीं हुआ।

 

मुंबई में, ताने और बाने की किस्मों के 60 गिनती वाले सूती धागे का कारोबार क्रमशः 1,540-1,570 रुपये और 1,470-1,520 रुपये प्रति 5 किलोग्राम (जीएसटी अतिरिक्त) पर हुआ। 60 कंघे वाले ताने की कीमत 350-355 रुपये प्रति किलो, 80 कार्ड वाले (बाने) सूती धागे की कीमत 1,510-1,540 रुपये प्रति 4.5 किलोग्राम थी। 44/46 काउंट कार्डेड कॉटन यार्न (वार्प) की कीमत 285-290 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम थी। 40/41 काउंट कार्डेड कॉटन यार्न (ताना) 277-282 रुपये प्रति किलो बिका। वहीं 40/41 काउंट कॉम्बेड यार्न (ताना) की कीमत 300-305 रुपये प्रति किलो थी।

 

बेहतर मांग के साथ तिरुप्पुर बाजार में भी सूती धागे की कीमतों में स्थिर रुझान देखा गया, लेकिन अन्य बाजारों की तुलना में पहले से ही उच्च सूती धागे की कीमतों के कारण कीमतों में कोई सुधार नहीं हुआ। तमिलनाडु स्थित मिलें आमतौर पर महीने की शुरुआत में धागे की कीमतों में संशोधन करती हैं, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप महीने में कम उतार-चढ़ाव होता है।

 

तिरुपुर बाजार में, 30 काउंट कॉम्बेड कॉटन यार्न का कारोबार 280-285 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम (जीएसटी अतिरिक्त), 34 काउंट कॉम्बेड कॉटन यार्न 292-297 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम और 40 काउंट कॉम्बेड कॉटन यार्न 308-312 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम पर कारोबार कर रहा था। 30 काउंट कार्डेड सूती धागा 255-260 रुपये प्रति किलो, 34 काउंट कार्डेड 265-270 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम और 40 काउंट कार्डेड 270-275 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम की दर से बिके।

 

गुजरात में बुधवार तक तेजी के बाद पिछले दो दिनों में कपास की कीमतों में गिरावट आई है। हाल की कीमत वृद्धि ने खरीदारों को हतोत्साहित किया है, जिससे कपास की कीमतों में नरमी आई है। 356 किलोग्राम प्रति कैंडी के दाम 62,500-63,000 रुपये के बीच चल रहे थे। कारोबारियों ने कहा कि न केवल गुजरात बल्कि दक्षिण भारत से भी कताई मिलें बुधवार तक सक्रिय रूप से खरीदारी कर रही थीं, लेकिन कपास की कीमतों में बढ़ोतरी के बाद मांग में कमी आई। कपास की आवक गुजरात में 37,000 गांठ और पूरे देश में 115,000 गांठ होने का अनुमान है।

Cotton yarn prices steady in south India, domestic demand weak

Mumbai:17 Feb 2023: The cotton yarn market of South India  remained stable today. Trading activities increased in Tiruppur.  Here cotton yarn was sold at previous rates. Domestic demand in the Mumbai market was limited. Traders said.

 

Spinners may be bullish due to high export orders. Domestic demand from the downstream industry has not been encouraging.  Buyers were cautious. 

 

Mumbai market witnessed steady trend in cotton yarn prices. While cotton yarn prices had increased early this week, demand from the domestic industry was average. Buyers were still cautious about new deals. Therefore, the prices did not improve further.

 

In Mumbai, 60 count carded cotton yarn of warp and weft varieties were traded at Rs1,540-1,570 and Rs1,470-1,520 per 5 kg (GST extra), respectively. 60 combed warp was priced at Rs350-355 per kg, 80 carded (weft) cotton yarn was sold at Rs1,510-1,540 per 4.5 kg.  44/46 count carded cotton yarn (warp) was priced at Rs285-290 per kg.  40/41 count carded cotton yarn (warp) was sold at Rs277-282 per kg. And 40/41 count combed yarn (warp) was priced at Rs300-305 per kg.

 

The Tiruppur market also saw a steady trend in cotton yarn prices, with better demand but no improvement in prices due to already high cotton yarn prices compared to other markets. Tamil Nadu-based mills typically revise yarn prices at the beginning of the month, resulting in fewer fluctuations in a month.

 

In the Tiruppur market, 30 count combed cotton yarn was traded at Rs280-285 per kg (GST extra), 34 count combed at Rs292-297 per kg, and 40 count combed at Rs308-312 per kg. Cotton yarn of 30 count carded was sold at Rs255-260 per kg, 34 count carded at Rs265-270 per kg, and 40 count carded at Rs270-275 per kg.

 

In Gujarat, cotton prices decreased in the last two days after appreciation till Wednesday. Recent price rise has discouraged buyers, leading to easing in cotton prices. The prices were hovering between Rs62,500-63,000 per candy of 356 kg. Traders said that spinning mills not only from Gujarat but also from South India were actively buying till Wednesday, but demand eased after cotton prices increased. Cotton arrival was estimated at 37,000 bales in Gujarat and 115,000 bales in the entire country.
