बेंगलुरु: 06 फरवरी 2023: प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने आज अपनी कर्नाटक यात्रा के दौरान इंडियन ऑयल कॉरपोरेशन (इंडियनऑयल) की 'अनबॉटल्ड' पहल के तहत रीसाइकिल पॉलिएस्टर (आरपीईटी) और कपास से बने खुदरा ग्राहक परिचारकों और एलपीजी डिलीवरी कर्मियों के लिए यूनिफॉर्म लॉन्च की। वर्दी का प्रत्येक सेट लगभग 28 प्रयुक्त पॉलीइथाइलीन टेरेफ्थेलेट (पीईटी) बोतलों के पुनर्चक्रण से बनेगा।

इंडियनऑयल का 'अनबॉटल्ड' सस्टेनेबल गारमेंट्स के लिए एक ब्रांड है, जिसे रिसाइकिल पॉलिएस्टर से बने मर्चेंडाइज के लिए लॉन्च किया गया है। ब्रांड के तहत, इंडियनऑयल का लक्ष्य अन्य तेल विपणन कंपनियों के ग्राहक परिचारकों के लिए वर्दी की आवश्यकता को पूरा करना है, सेना के लिए गैर-लड़ाकू वर्दी, संस्थानों और बिक्री और खुदरा ग्राहकों के लिए वर्दी और पोशाक, एक आधिकारिक विज्ञप्ति में कहा गया है।

 

प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने बेंगलुरु में भारत ऊर्जा सप्ताह 2023 का भी उद्घाटन किया। सप्ताह एक ऊर्जा संक्रमण बिजलीघर के रूप में भारत की बढ़ती शक्ति को प्रदर्शित करेगा। यह आयोजन उन चुनौतियों और अवसरों पर चर्चा करने के लिए पारंपरिक और गैर-पारंपरिक ऊर्जा उद्योग, सरकारों और शिक्षा जगत के नेताओं को एक साथ लाएगा जो एक जिम्मेदार ऊर्जा संक्रमण प्रस्तुत करते हैं।

Indian PM launches garments made of rPET for use by IndianOil staff

Bengaluru:06 Feb 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched during his Karnataka visit uniforms for retail customer attendants and LPG delivery personnel made from recycled polyester (rPET) and cotton under the Indian Oil Corporation’s (IndialOil) ‘Unbottled’ initiative. Each set of uniforms shall support the recycling of around 28 used polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles.

IndianOil’s ‘Unbottled’ is a brand for sustainable garments, launched for merchandise made from recycled polyester. Under the brand, IndianOil targets to meet the requirement of uniforms for the customer attendants of other oil marketing companies, non-combat uniforms for the Army, uniforms and dresses for institutions and sales and retail customers, an official release stated.

 

Prime Minister Modi also inaugurated the India Energy Week 2023 in Bengaluru. The week will showcase India's rising prowess as an energy transition powerhouse. The event will bring together leaders from the traditional and non-traditional energy industry, governments, and academia to discuss the challenges and opportunities that a responsible energy transition presents.
