सूरत: 11 फरवरी 2023:  सीएमएआई (द क्लॉथिंग मैन्युफैक्चरर्स एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया) के दक्षिणी गुजरात क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय का उद्घाटन 11 फरवरी 2023 को सूरत में आयोजित एक शानदार समारोह में माननीय कपड़ा राज्य मंत्री श्रीमती दर्शना जरदोश द्वारा किया गया।

 

इस अवसर पर  दक्षिण गुजरात चैंबर ऑफ कॉमर्स (SGCCI) के सहयोग से एक पूरे दिन का गारमेंट कॉन्क्लेव आयोजित किया गया। इसने लगभग 1500 उद्यमियों, पेशेवरों, विशेषज्ञों और छात्रों के अभूतपूर्व दर्शकों ने भाग लिया। सूरत में किसी गारमेंट सम्मेलन के लिए यह अब तक का सबसे बड़ा जमावड़ा बताया जा रहा है। कॉन्क्लेव के वक्ताओं में अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर प्रशंसित फैशन डिजाइनर राहुल मिश्रा, वजीर एडवाइजर्स के प्रबंध निदेशक प्रशांत अग्रवाल, शीर्ष एथनिक वियर ब्रांड सोच(SOCH) के चेयरमैन -मनोहर चटलानी, प्रसिद्ध सलाहकार राजेश भेड़ा,  प्रसिद्ध किड्सवियर ब्रांड पेपरमिंट के अध्यक्ष-संतोष कटारिया, और CMAI के पूर्व अध्यक्ष और अब मुख्य संरक्षक, राहुल मेहता शामिल थे।

 

सूरत के महत्व को पहचानने और अपना गुजरात क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय खोलने के लिए सीएमएआई को बधाई देते हुए, माननीय मंत्री दर्शन जरदोश ने सीएमएआई से आग्रह किया कि वह पूरे भारत से संघों को अपनी छतरी के नीचे इकट्ठा करे और खंडित उद्योग को एक एकीकृत शक्ति के रूप में एकजुट करे।

 

श्रीमती दर्शना जरदोश ने सीएमएआई से हथकरघा और कपड़े और शिल्प के अन्य पारंपरिक रूपों का समर्थन करने और आधुनिक खुदरा बाजार में उनकी सहायता करने के लिए भी कहा। उन्होंने इस तरह के प्रयास में सीएमएआई को अपना पूरा समर्थन देने का वादा किया।

 

कॉन्क्लेव में सभी वक्ताओं ने सूरत के उद्योगपतियों और उद्यमियों को अपने कपड़ा व्यवसाय के विस्तार के रूप में गारमेंटिंग में विस्तार करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया, क्योंकि गारमेंटिंग भविष्य का उद्योग था।

 

राहुल मिश्रा ने दर्शकों से अपने कम्फर्ट जोन से बाहर निकलने और सृजन और विकास करते रहने का आग्रह किया। प्रशांत अग्रवाल ने विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में बाजार की क्षमता के बारे में विस्तार से बताया, जबकि राजेश भेड़ा ने स्मार्ट फैक्ट्री स्थापित करने के महत्व पर जोर दिया। संतोष कटारिया और राहुल मेहता ने ब्रांड बनाने की बारीकियों और महत्व पर बात की।

 

दक्षिणी गुजरात क्षेत्रीय समिति के अध्यक्ष डॉ. अजॉय भट्टाचार्य, और अध्यक्ष राजेश मसंद के मार्गदर्शन में, गुजरात क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय के प्रभारी नवीन सैनानी, और डॉ. वंदना द्वारा कुशलता से आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम की शानदार ढंग से परिकल्पना और निष्पादन किया गया था।

कॉन्क्लेव के साथ-साथ बोलते हुए, राजेश मसंद ने उन महत्वाकांक्षी योजनाओं को रेखांकित किया, जिन्हें CMAI ने अपने गुजरात कार्यालय के लिए निर्धारित किया था, जिसमें भारत और विदेशों में सफल कारखानों के लिए 2 प्रशिक्षण केंद्रों की स्थापना, एक कार्यकारी विकास कार्यक्रम, और कार्यशालाओं, सेमिनारों और यात्राओं की एक सतत श्रृंखला शामिल थी।

The Southern Gujarat Regional Office of CMAI  was inaugurated by Smt. Darshana Jardosh, Hon. Minister of State for Textiles on the 11th February 2023.

 

 

Surat: 11th February 2023:  The Southern Gujarat Regional Office of CMAI (The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India) was inaugurated by Smt. Darshana Jardosh, Hon. Minister of State for Textiles, at a glittering function held at Surat on the 11th February 2023.

 

To mark the occasion, a whole day Garment Conclave was held in collaboration with the South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce (SGCCI), which attracted an unprecedented audience of nearly 1500 Entrepreneurs, Professionals, Experts, and Students. This is said to be the highest ever gathering for a Garment Conference in Surat. The Speakers at the Conclave included the Internationally acclaimed Fashion Designer Rahul Mishra, the Managing Director of Wazir Advisors Prashant Agarwal, the Chairman of one of the top most Ethnic wear Brand SOCH -Manohar Chatlani, renowned Consultant Rajesh Bheda, Chairman of the famous Kidswear Brand Peppermint -Santosh Kataria, and Past President and now Chief Mentor of CMAI, Rahul Mehta.

 

Whilst congratulating CMAI for recognising the importance of Surat and opening its Gujarat Regional Office, the Hon’ble  Minister Darshana Jardosh urged CMAI to gather Associations from all over India under its umbrella and unite the fragmented industry into a unified force.

 

Smt. Darshana Jardosh also asked CMAI to support the Handloom and other traditional forms of Fabrics and Crafts and assist them to market to the modern Retail. She promised her full support to CMAI in such an endeavour.

 

All the Speakers at the Conclave encouraged the Surat Industrialists and Entrepreneurs to look at expanding into Garmenting as an extension of their Textile business, as Garmenting was the industry of the future.

 

Rahul Mishra urged the audience to move out of their comfort zone and keep creating and evolving. Prashant Agarwal elaborated on the market potential in different segments, whilst Rajesh Bheda stressed the importance of setting up Smart Factories. Santosh Katariya and Rahul Mehta dwelt on the nuances and importance of creating a Brand.

 

The event was brilliantly conceived and executed by the Chairman of the Southern Gujarat Regional Committee Dr. Ajoy Bhattacharya, and the Committee Member in charge of the Gujarat Regional Office Naveen Sainani, under the guidance of President Rajesh Masand, and ably conducted by Dr. Vandana Bhattacharya.

 

Speaking on the side lines of the Conclave, Rajesh Masand outlined the ambitious plans CMAI had laid out for its Gujarat Office, which included the setting up of 2 Training Centres, an Executive Development Program, and a continuous series of Workshops, Seminars, and visits to successful Factories in India and abroad.
