India calls for more cooperation with France in clean energy।।भारत ने स्वच्छ ऊर्जा में फ्रांस के साथ और अधिक सहयोग का आह्वान किया

24 फरवरी 2023: भारत ने स्वच्छ ऊर्जा में फ्रांस के साथ और अधिक सहयोग का आह्वान किया है और इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों (ईवीएस) और हाइड्रोजन ऊर्जा में हरित परिवर्तन की अपनी योजनाओं पर प्रकाश डाला है। वैज्ञानिक और औद्योगिक अनुसंधान परिषद (CSIR) के महानिदेशक डॉ. एन कलैसेल्वी ने 24 फरवरी 2023 को नई दिल्ली में स्वच्छ और सतत ऊर्जा प्रौद्योगिकियों (INFINITE) पर भारत-फ्रांस कार्यशाला यह कहा।

 

उन्होंने कहा कि हरित ऊर्जा उत्पादन, भंडारण और रूपांतरण के लिए फ्रांस और अन्य जी20 देशों के साथ साझेदारी आवश्यक है। भारत और फ्रांस के बीच विशेष रूप से स्वच्छ और नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा (renewable energies) पर अनुसंधान बढ़ाने के लिए लंबे समय से द्विपक्षीय अनुसंधान सहयोग है।

         

विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय के सचिव डॉ. एस चंद्रशेखर ने कहा कि भारत के थार रेगिस्तान में 2,100 गीगावॉट सौर ऊर्जा पैदा करने का अनुमान है।

 

फ्रेंच नेशनल सेंटर फॉर साइंटिफिक रिसर्च (CNRS) के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी डॉ. एंटोनी पेटिट ने दोनों देशों के बीच मजबूत साझेदारी की सराहना की और नए द्विपक्षीय कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से एक स्थायी ऊर्जा संक्रमण प्राप्त करने में सहयोग के महत्व पर जोर दिया।

 

यह आयोजन सीएसआईआर-सेंट्रल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ माइनिंग एंड फ्यूल रिसर्च, धनबाद और सीएनआरएस द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से आयोजित किया जा रहा है और इंडो-फ्रेंच सेंटर फॉर द प्रमोशन ऑफ एडवांस्ड रिसर्च द्वारा समर्थित है।

24 Feb 2023: India has called for more cooperation with France in clean energy and highlighted its plans for green transitioning to electric vehicles (EVs) and hydrogen energy. Dr. N Kalaiselvi, director general of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)  told the Indo-French Workshop on Clean and Sustainable Energy Technologies (INFINITE) in New Delhi on24 Feb 2023.

 

She said that partnerships with France and other G20 nations are required for green energy generation, storage and conversion.

 

India and France have long standing bilateral research co-operation specially to augment research on clean and renewable energies.

 

Dr. S Chandrasekhar, secretary in the ministry of science and technology, said India is estimated to generate up to 2,100 GW of solar energy in the Thar desert.

 

Dr. Antoine Petit, chief executive officer of the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), expressed appreciation for the strong partnership between the two countries and emphasised the importance of collaboration in achieving a sustainable energy transition through new bilateral programmes.

 

The event is being jointly organised by CSIR-Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research, Dhanbad, and CNRS and supported by the Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research.
