मुंबई : 28 मार्च 2023:  धीमी मांग के साथ दक्षिण भारत में सूती धागे की कीमतें स्थिर रहीं, लेकिन कपास की कीमतों में वृद्धि से यार्न बाजार में धारणा को बल मिला।

 

अप्रैल में बेहतर मांग की उम्मीद के साथ मुंबई और तिरुपुर में सूती धागे की कीमतें स्थिर रहीं। गुजरात में आईसीई कपास में सुधार के कारण कपास की कीमतें अधिक थीं। पूरे भारत में कपास की आवक 1.10 लाख गांठ रहने का अनुमान है।

 

कमजोर मांग के कारण दक्षिण भारत में सूती धागे की कीमतें आज स्थिर रहीं, लेकिन कपास की कीमतों में वृद्धि से धागे के बाजार में धारणा को बल मिला। कारोबारी प्रतिभागियों को आने वाले महीने में दक्षिण भारत में सूती धागे की बेहतर मांग और कीमतों में तेजी को लेकर अधिक भरोसा था। सूती धागे की कीमतें मुंबई और तिरुपुर में स्थिर रहीं।

 

कमजोर मांग के बीच सूती धागे की कीमतें मुंबई में स्थिर रहीं और बाजार बेहतर भावनाओं के लिए अप्रैल की ओर देख रहा था। डाउनस्ट्रीम उद्योग से मांग अभी भी कमजोर थी। बाजार को अप्रैल से काफी उम्मीद है। खरीदार बाजार में वापस आएंगे क्योंकि उन्हें अपना परिचालन चलाने की जरूरत है।

 

मुंबई में, ताने और बाने की किस्मों के 60 गिनती वाले सूती धागे का कारोबार क्रमशः 1,525-1,540 रुपये और 1,400-1,450 रुपये प्रति 5 किलोग्राम (जीएसटी अतिरिक्त) पर हुआ; 60 कंघे वाले ताने की कीमत 342-345 रुपये प्रति किलो थी; 80 कार्डेड (वेट) सूती धागा 1,440-1,480 रुपये प्रति 4.5 किलोग्राम पर बिका; 44/46 काउंट कार्डेड कॉटन यार्न (वार्प) की कीमत 280-285 रुपये प्रति किलो थी; 40/41 काउंट कार्डेड कॉटन यार्न (ताना) 260-268 रुपये प्रति किलो बिका; और 40/41 काउंट कॉम्बेड यार्न (ताना) की कीमत 290-303 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम थी।

 

इसी तरह, तिरुपुर बाजार में सूती धागे की कीमतों में स्थिर रुझान देखा गया। चालू वित्त वर्ष के अंतिम दिनों में धीमी मांग के कारण बाजार की धारणा कमजोर रही। हालांकि, अगले महीने बेहतर मांग को लेकर आशावाद था।

तिरुपुर में 30 काउंट कॉम्बेड कॉटन यार्न का भाव 280-285 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम (जीएसटी अतिरिक्त), 34 काउंट कॉम्बेड 292-297 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम और 40 काउंट कॉम्बेड कॉटन यार्न 308-312 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम पर कारोबार कर रहा था। 30 काउंट कार्डेड सूती धागा 255-260 रुपये प्रति किलो, 34 काउंट कार्डेड 265-270 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम और 40 काउंट कार्डेड 270-275 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम की दर से बिके।

 

गुजरात में कपास की कीमत 500 रुपये बढ़कर 60,000-61,000 रुपये प्रति कैंडी (356 किलोग्राम) हो गई। आईसीई कपास में सुधार के कारण विक्रेता अधिक कीमतों की मांग कर रहे थे। स्पिनर अधिक कीमतों का भुगतान करने को तैयार थे, और व्यापार सूत्रों ने कहा कि आईसीई कपास ने समग्र बाजार भावनाओं का समर्थन किया। गुजरात में कपास की आवक 170 किलोग्राम की 30,000 गांठों पर नोट की गई थी, और पूरे भारत में 1.10 लाख गांठों की आवक का अनुमान लगाया गया था।

Mumbai and Tiruppur saw stable cotton yarn prices, with hopes of better demand in April. In Gujarat, cotton prices were higher due to improved ICE cotton. All India cotton arrival was estimated at 1.10 lakh bales.

 

Cotton yarn prices in South India remained steady today with slow demand, but the increase in cotton prices boosted sentiments in the yarn market. Trade participants were more confident about better demand and steady to upside prices for cotton yarn in South India in the coming month. Cotton yarn prices remained stable in Mumbai and Tiruppur.

 

Cotton yarn prices remained stable in Mumbai amid poor demand, and the market was looking towards April for better sentiments. Demand from the downstream industry was still weak. The market has high hope from April. Buyers will come back to the market as they need to run their operations.

 

In Mumbai, 60-count carded cotton yarn of warp and weft varieties were traded at Rs 1,525-1,540 and Rs 1,400-1,450 per 5 kg (GST extra) respectively; 60 combed warp was priced at Rs 342-345 per kg; 80 carded (weft) cotton yarn was sold at Rs 1,440-1,480 per 4.5 kg; 44/46 count carded cotton yarn (warp) was priced at Rs 280-285 per kg; 40/41 count carded cotton yarn (warp) was sold at Rs 260-268 per kg; and 40/41 count combed yarn (warp) was priced at Rs 290-303 per kg.

 

Similarly, the Tiruppur market noted a steady trend in cotton yarn prices, and market sentiments were weak due to slower demand in the last days of the current fiscal. However, there was optimism about better demand in the next month.

 

Cotton yarn remained steady in south India which was opposite of north India’s market trend. Demand was likely to improve in the next months. At least, the weak trend will end in the next month. Cotton yarn may remain steady or go upwards. The recent rise in ICE cotton also supported the yarn market.

 

In Tiruppur, 30-count combed cotton yarn was traded at Rs 280-285 per kg (GST extra), 34-count combed at Rs 292-297 per kg and 40-count combed at Rs 308-312 per kg. Cotton yarn of 30 count carded was sold at Rs 255-260 per kg, 34 count carded at Rs 265-270 per kg and 40 count carded at Rs 270-275 per kg.

 

Cotton was priced higher by Rs 500 to Rs 60,000-61,000 per candy of 356 kg in Gujarat. Sellers were asking for higher prices due to improvements in ICE cotton. Spinners were willing to pay more prices, and trade sources said that ICE cotton supported overall market sentiments. Cotton arrival was noted at 30,000 bales of 170 kg in Gujarat, and all India arrival was estimated at 1.10 lakh bales.
