गांधीनगर: 2023/12/03: भारत की गुजरात राज्य सरकार वर्तमान में अगले पांच वर्षों के लिए अपनी कपड़ा नीति को अंतिम रूप देने की प्रक्रिया में है। उम्मीद है कि नई नीति कई अन्य लाभों के अलावा 30 प्रतिशत पूंजीगत सब्सिडी भी प्रदान कर सकती है। उच्च पूंजी सब्सिडी अन्य राज्यों के कपड़ा उद्योगों और निवेशकों को आकर्षित कर सकती है। मसौदा जल्द ही उद्योग जगत के सामने टिप्पणी के लिए उपलब्ध होगा।

वर्तमान कपड़ा नीति इस महीने समाप्त होने जा रही है, और राज्य सरकार को 10-12 जनवरी, 2024 को होने वाले वाइब्रेंट गुजरात ग्लोबल समिट से ठीक पहले, नए साल 2024 में अपनी नई कपड़ा नीति लॉन्च करने की उम्मीद है।

 

उद्योग सूत्रों के मुताबिक, सरकार ने कपड़ा इकाइयों में नए निवेश के लिए ब्याज सब्सिडी और बिजली टैरिफ सब्सिडी का प्रस्ताव दिया है। उद्योग ऊर्जा, जल और पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए भी सहायता पाने के हकदार होंगे। उन्हें प्रौद्योगिकी उन्नयन और हरित प्रथाओं को अपनाने के लिए वित्तीय सहायता भी मिलेगी।

 

दक्षिणी गुजरात चैंबर ऑफ कॉमर्स एंड इंडस्ट्री (एसजीसीसीआई) के उपाध्यक्ष आशीष गुजराती ने कहा, “पूंजी सब्सिडी और अन्य लाभ मुख्य आकर्षण होंगे। इससे महाराष्ट्र और आसपास के अन्य राज्यों से कपड़ा उद्योग गुजरात आएंगे। अन्य राज्यों में स्थानांतरित होने के बाद कपड़ा इकाइयाँ राज्य में वापस आएँगी।

 

गुजराती उन कुछ उद्योग सदस्यों में से एक है जिन्होंने नीति मसौदा तैयार करने के लिए राज्य सरकार को सुझाव दिए हैं।

 

सरकार को अपनी नई कपड़ा नीति में कई लाभ मिलने की संभावना है, क्योंकि ऐसा महसूस किया जा रहा है कि कपड़ा मूल्य श्रृंखला को वित्तीय सहायता की आवश्यकता है। सूत्रों ने कहा कि मसौदा जल्द ही अंतिम परामर्श के लिए उपलब्ध होगा.

Gandhinagar: 2023/12/03:  The state government of Gujarat, India, is currently in the process of finalising its textile policy for the next five years. It is expected that the new policy may provide 30 per cent capital subsidy apart from several other benefits. Higher capital subsidy may attract textile industries and investors from other states. The draft will be available soon before the industry for comment.

The current textile policy is going to end this month, and the state government is expected to launch its new textile policy in new year 2024, just before the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, scheduled to take place from January 10-12, 2024.

 

According to industry sources, the government has proposed interest subsidy and power tariff subsidy to new investment in textile units. Industries will also be entitled to have assistance for energy, water and environment conservation. They will also get financial assistance for technology upgradation and adopting green practices.

 

Ashish Gujarati, the vice president of the Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) said, “Capital subsidy and other benefits will be main attraction. It will make textile industries from Maharashtra and other adjoining states come to Gujarat. Textile units will come back to the state after they had shifted to other states.”

 

Gujarati is one of the few industry members who have provided suggestions to the state government for the formulation of the policy draft.

 

The government is likely to come out with several benefits in its new textile policy, as it is felt that the textile value chain needs financial support. Sources said that the draft will be available for final consultation soon.
