भारत टेक्स एक्सपो: प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने सोमवार को भारत मंडपम में चार दिवसीय भारत टेक्स एक्सपो 2024 का उद्घाटन किया, जो दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा कपड़ा प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन  है।

 

इस महत्वपूर्ण कार्यक्रम में बोलते हुए, पीएम ने कपड़ा मूल्य श्रृंखला के सभी तत्वों को पांच एफ, जैसे कि फार्म, फाइबर, फैक्ट्री, फैशन और फॉरेन के साथ जोड़ने पर सरकार के फोकस पर प्रकाश डाला।

 

"पांच एफ की यह यात्रा - फार्म, फाइबर, फैक्ट्री, फैशन और विदेशी, एक तरह से पूरा दृश्य हमारे सामने है।  पांच एफ के इस सिद्धांत को ध्यान में रखते हुए, हम किसानों, एमएसएमई और निर्यात को प्रोत्साहित कर रहे हैं। मोदी ने कहा, "हमने निवेश और टर्नओवर के मामले में एमएसएमई की परिभाषा में भी संशोधन किया है।  इससे उद्योगों का स्तर और आकार बढ़ेगा। बड़े होने के बाद भी उन्हें सरकारी योजनाओं का लाभ मिल सकेगा।"

 

उन्होंने कपड़ा क्षेत्र को पूर्ण सरकारी समर्थन का भी आश्वासन दिया। "हम विकसित भारत के निर्माण में कपड़ा क्षेत्र के योगदान को और बढ़ाने के लिए काम कर रहे हैं।"

 

कार्यक्रम को विशेष बताते हुए उन्‍होंने सूक्ष्म, लघु एवं मध्यम उद्यम (एमएसएमई) क्षेत्र के लिए उठाए गए कई कदमों को भी दोहराया।

 

पीएम मोदी ने कहा "हमने एमएसएमई क्षेत्र के लिए कई कदम उठाए हैं। हमने निवेश और टर्नओवर की संभावना को देखते हुए एमएसएमई की परिभाषा में भी संशोधन किया है। इससे कंपनियों को उनके आकार के बावजूद सरकारी योजनाओं का लाभ प्राप्त करने में मदद मिलेगी। हमने अंतर को कम करने का भी प्रयास किया है।" कारीगरों और बाजार के बीच“।

 

इस आयोजन में 3,000 से अधिक प्रदर्शकों, 100 देशों के 3,000 खरीदारों और लगभग 40,000 व्यापार आगंतुकों की भागीदारी शामिल है।

 

उद्घाटन के मौके पर मोदी ने यह भी कहा कि सरकार द्वारा लॉन्च की गई कस्तूरी कॉटन भारत की पहचान बनाने में अहम भूमिका निभाएगी.

 

"आज भारत दुनिया में कपास, जूट और रेशम के सबसे बड़े उत्पादकों में से एक है। लाखों किसान इस काम में लगे हुए हैं। आज सरकार लाखों कपास किसानों का समर्थन कर रही है। उनसे लाखों क्विंटल कपास खरीद रही है। कस्तूरी पीएम ने कहा, ''सरकार द्वारा लॉन्च किया गया कॉटन भारत की अपनी पहचान बनाने की दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम होने जा रहा है।''

 

प्रधान मंत्री ने इस बात पर भी प्रकाश डाला कि पिछले दशक में यार्न, कपड़े और परिधान के उत्पादन में 25% की वृद्धि हुई है।

 

"एक स्थिर और दूरदर्शी सरकार के प्रयासों से कपड़ा क्षेत्र पर सकारात्मक प्रभाव देखा जा सकता है। 2014 में, भारत के कपड़ा बाजार का मूल्यांकन 7 लाख करोड़ रुपये से कम था। आज यह 12 लाख करोड़ रुपये से अधिक हो गया है।" पिछले 10 वर्षों के दौरान, यार्न, कपड़े और परिधान के उत्पादन में 25% की वृद्धि हुई है। सरकार कपड़ा क्षेत्र में गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण पर बहुत अधिक ध्यान केंद्रित कर रही है, "उन्होंने कहा। 

 

प्रदर्शनी का एजेंडा

 

भारत टेक्स 2024 का आयोजन 11 कपड़ा निर्यात संवर्धन परिषदों के एक संघ द्वारा किया जाता है और सरकार द्वारा समर्थित है। इसे व्यापार और निवेश के दोहरे स्तंभों पर बनाया गया है, जिसमें स्थिरता पर अत्यधिक ध्यान दिया गया है।

 

चार दिनों के कार्यक्रम में 65 से अधिक ज्ञान सत्र होंगे, जिसमें 100 से अधिक वैश्विक पैनलिस्ट इस क्षेत्र से संबंधित विभिन्न मुद्दों पर चर्चा करेंगे। इसमें कपड़ा क्षेत्र में निवेश और व्यापार को और अधिक गति प्रदान करने की परिकल्पना की गई है, जिसमें 50 से अधिक घोषणाओं और समझौता ज्ञापनों पर हस्ताक्षर किए जाने की उम्मीद है, साथ ही निर्यात को बढ़ावा देने में मदद मिलेगी।

 

हितधारकों को जानें

इस अवसर के लिए उत्तर प्रदेश और महाराष्ट्र राज्यों को 'साझेदार राज्य' नामित किया गया है, जो भारतीय कपड़ा उद्योग में उनके उल्लेखनीय योगदान को उजागर करता है। आयोजन में कपड़ा पेशकशों की विविधता को और बढ़ाते हुए गुजरात, तेलंगाना और मध्य प्रदेश को "सहायक भागीदार राज्य" के रूप में शामिल किया गया है।

 

प्रमुख वैश्विक कपड़ा कार्यक्रम आंध्र प्रदेश, तमिलनाडु, कर्नाटक और असम के राज्य मंडपों के साथ भारत के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में विविध कपड़ा पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को प्रदर्शित करता है।

 

कपड़ा उद्योग में सहयोग, नवाचार और सतत विकास की संभावनाओं का पता लगाने के लिए, भारत टेक्स 2024 कपड़ा निर्माताओं, कारीगरों, डिजाइनरों और विधायकों जैसे महत्वपूर्ण हितधारकों को एक साथ लाता है।

Bharat Tex Expo: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated the four-day Bharat Tex Expo 2024 at Bharat Mandapam, which boasts to be the world's largest textiles event.

Speaking at the marquee event, the PM highlighted the government's focus on connecting all elements of the textile value chain with five Fs: Farm, fibre, factory, fashion and foreign.

 

"This journey of the five F's - farm, fibre, factory, fashion and foreign, in a way the whole scene is in front of us, keeping this principle of the five Fs in mind, we are encouraging farmers, MSMEs, and exports. We have also amended the definition of MSME in terms of investment and turnover, this will increase the scale and size of the industries. Even after growing up, they will be able to get the benefits of government schemes," Modi said.

 

He also assured the textiles sector of full government support. "We are working to further increase the contribution of textile sector in building a developed India."

 

Calling the event special, the BJP leader also reiterated the several steps taken for the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector.

 

"We have taken several steps for the MSME sector. We have also amended the definition of the MSMEs in prospect of the investment and turnover. This will help companies get the benefits of government schemes despite their size. We have also tried to reduce the gap between artisans and the market," PM Modi said.

 

The event marks attendance of more than 3,000 exhibitors, 3,000 buyers from 100 nations and participation of around 40,000 trade visitors.

 

At the inauguration of Modi also noted that the the Kasturi Cotton launched by the government will play pivotal role in India's identity creation.

 

"Today, India is one of the largest producers of cotton, jute and silk in the world. Lakhs of farmers are engaged in this work. Today the government is supporting lakhs of cotton farmers, purchasing lakhs of quintals of cotton from them. The Kasturi Cotton launched by the government is going to be a big step towards creating India's own identity," the PM said.

 

The Prime Minister also highlighted that there has been a 25% rise in the production of yarn, fabric and apparel, in the last decade.

 

"The positive impacts resulting from efforts of a stable and visionary government on the textile sector can well be seen. In 2014, the valuation of the textile market of India was less than Rs 7 lakh crores, today, it has crossed Rs 12 lakh crores. During the last 10 years, there has been a 25% rise in the production of yarn, fabric and apparel. The government is very much focused on quality control in the textile sector," he added.

 

The agenda of the exhibition

 

Bharat Tex 2024 is organised by a consortium of 11 Textile Export Promotion Councils and supported by the government. It is further built on the twin pillars of trade and investment, with an overarching focus on sustainability.

 

The four days event features over 65 knowledge sessions with more than 100 global panelists discussing various issues facing relevant to the sector. It is envisaged to provide further impetus to investment and trade in the textile sector with more than 50 announcements and MoUs expected to be signed along side helping push up exports.

 

Know the stakeholders

States of Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra have been named 'Partner States' for the occasion, highlighting their noteworthy input to the Indian textile industry. Further enhancing the variety of textile offerings at the event are the additions of Gujarat, Telangana, and Madhya Pradesh as "Supporting Partner States."

 

The premier global textile event showcases the diverse textile ecosystems across various regions of India, with state pavilions from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Assam.

 

In order to explore prospects for cooperation, innovation, and sustainable growth in the textile industry, Bharat Tex 2024 brings together important stakeholders, such as textile manufacturers, artisans, designers, and legislators.
