नई दिल्ली: 2024/06/22: बांग्लादेश की प्रधानमंत्री शेख हसीना, जो नई दिल्ली की दो दिवसीय यात्रा पर हैं, ने आर्थिक विकास सहयोग से संबंधित अपनी गतिविधियों में दोनों पक्षों के सामने आने वाली चुनौतियों को कम करने के लिए बातचीत का आह्वान किया है।

 

भारतीय विदेश मंत्री एस जयशंकर द्वारा उनसे मुलाकात के दौरान उन्होंने कहा, "हम अपने अनुभवों और हमारे आर्थिक विकास के लिए हमारे सामने आने वाली चुनौतियों का आदान-प्रदान कर सकते हैं। और हम उन्हें बातचीत के माध्यम से हल कर सकते हैं।"

 

पिछले दस वर्षों में, द्विपक्षीय संबंध ऐसी ऊंचाई पर पहुंच गए हैं जहां इसे एक नए अध्याय में ले जाया जा सकता है, और "यह व्यापार के क्षेत्रों में किया जाएगा", हसीना के प्रधान सचिव एम तोफज्जल हुसैन मिया ने जयशंकर के हवाले से कहा।

 

मिया ने कहा कि भारत रसद, ऊर्जा और कनेक्टिविटी में बांग्लादेश के साथ और अधिक काम करना चाहता है। जयशंकर ने हसीना से बहु-क्षेत्रीय तकनीकी और आर्थिक सहयोग के लिए बंगाल की खाड़ी पहल (बिम्सटेक) के लिए एक नई भूमिका निभाने का आग्रह किया और सितंबर में थाईलैंड में होने वाली अगली बिम्सटेक बैठक में उनकी उपस्थिति की उम्मीद जताई। बांग्लादेश की एक समाचार एजेंसी ने बताया कि बिम्सटेक को मजबूत करने से व्यापार, कनेक्टिविटी और डिजिटलीकरण के मामले में बांग्लादेश को फायदा होगा।

New Delhi: 2024/06/22: Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who is on a two-day visit to New Delhi, has called for dialogue as a way to reduce challenges being faced by both sides in their activities related to economic development cooperation.

"We could exchange our experiences and the challenges we are experiencing for our economic development. And we could resolve those through dialogues," she said as Indian external affairs minister S Jaishankar called on her.

In the last ten years, bilateral ties have reached such a height where it could be taken to a new chapter, and “that would be in done in the areas of trade”, Jaishankar was quoted as saying by principal secretary to Hasina M Tofazzel Hossain Miah.

India wants to work more with Bangladesh in logistics, energy and connectivity, Miah said.

Jaishankar urged Hasina to take a new role for the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC), and hoped for her presence at the next BIMSTEC meeting in September in Thailand.

Strengthening BIMSTEC would benefit Bangladesh in terms of trade, connectivity and digitalization, both the leaders agreed, a Bangladesh news agency reported.
