मुंबई:2024/07/06: इस साल जून में 12 प्रमुख भारतीय बंदरगाहों पर कार्गो यातायात में 6.8 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि हुई और यह 69.08 मिलियन टन (एमटी) हो गया, जबकि पिछले साल इसी महीने यह 64.69 मीट्रिक टन था। भारतीय बंदरगाह संघ (आईपीए) द्वारा जारी आंकड़ों से पता चलता है।

 

दस बंदरगाहों में सकारात्मक वृद्धि दर्ज की गई, जबकि दो में गिरावट देखी गई।

 

12 प्रमुख बंदरगाहों में दीनदयाल (कांडला), मुंबई, मोरमुगाओ, न्यू मैंगलोर, कोचीन, चेन्नई, एन्नोर (कामराजार), तूतीकोरिन (वी ओ चिदंबरनार), विशाखापत्तनम, पारादीप और कोलकाता (हल्दिया सहित) और जवाहरलाल नेहरू बंदरगाह शामिल हैं।

 

आंकड़ों के अनुसार, महाराष्ट्र के जवाहरलाल नेहरू बंदरगाह में इस महीने के दौरान कार्गो हैंडलिंग में सबसे अधिक 15.12 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि देखी गई, जिसके बाद कोचीन बंदरगाह (15.12 प्रतिशत), कामराजर बंदरगाह (10.70 प्रतिशत), दीनदयाल बंदरगाह (8.57 प्रतिशत) और न्यू मंगलौर बंदरगाह (8.53 प्रतिशत) का स्थान रहा।

 

इस महीने के दौरान वीओ चिदंबरनार बंदरगाह के कार्गो यातायात में 7.73 प्रतिशत और पारादीप बंदरगाह के कार्गो यातायात में 7.41 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि हुई।

 

एसएमपी कोलकाता बंदरगाह ने यातायात हैंडलिंग में 6.66 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि दर्ज की, इसके बाद चेन्नई बंदरगाह (6.09 प्रतिशत) और मोरमुगाओ बंदरगाह (3.75 प्रतिशत) का स्थान रहा।

 

मुंबई बंदरगाह और विशाखापत्तनम बंदरगाह में जून में कार्गो यातायात में 6.59 प्रतिशत और 0.27 प्रतिशत की गिरावट देखी गई।

 

आईपीए भारतीय बंदरगाह, जहाजरानी और जलमार्ग मंत्रालय के प्रशासनिक नियंत्रण में है।

Mumbai:2024/07/06: Cargo traffic across 12 major Indian ports increased by 6.8 per cent to 69.08 million tonnes (MT) in June this year from 64.69 MT in the same month last year. Data released by Indian Ports Association (IPA) reveals.

 

Ten ports recorded positive growth, while two saw a decline.

 

The 12 major ports are Deendayal (Kandla), Mumbai, Mormugao, New Mangalore, Cochin, Chennai, Ennore (Kamarajar), Tuticorin (V O Chidambaranar), Visakhapatnam, Paradip and Kolkata (including Haldia) and Jawaharlal Nehru Port.

 

Maharashtra’s Jawaharlal Nehru Port saw the highest year-on-year (YoY) growth in cargo handling at 15.12 per cent during the month, followed by Cochin Port (15.12 per cent), Kamarajar Port (10.70 per cent), Deendayal Port (8.57 per cent) and New Mangalore Port (8.53 per cent), the data showed.

 

VO Chidambaranar Port's cargo traffic grew by 7.73 per cent YoY and Paradip Port’s by 7.41 per cent YoY during the month.

 

SMP Kolkata Port registered a 6.66 per cent YoY growth in traffic handling, followed by Chennai Port (6.09 per cent YoY) and Mormugao Port (3.75 per cent YoY).

 

Mumbai Port and Visakhapatnam Port saw a 6.59 per cent and 0.27 per cent YoY decline in cargo traffic in June.

 

IPA is under the administrative control of the Indian ministry of ports, shipping and waterways.
