नई दिल्ली: 04 सितंबर, 2022:  हमारा देश दूसरों की तुलना में एक मजबूत स्‍थि‍ति में है। भारतीय वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने कहा। उन्हें चालू वित्त वर्ष में सकल घरेलू उत्पाद (जीडीपी) डबल डिज‍िट में  वृद्धि की उम्मीद है। एक समाचार एजेंसी ने उन्हें यह कहते हुए उद्धृत किया था।

 

रिपोर्टों का हवाला देते हुए, उन्होंने कहा कि देश के मंदी की चपेट में आने की कोई आ‍शंका नहीं है। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा, "हम सचमुच सबसे तेजी से बढ़ती अर्थव्यवस्था हैं। उन्होंने इस तथ्य पर विचार किया कि भारत की तुलना में कहीं अधिक विकसित अर्थव्यवस्थाएं मंदी के कगार पर हैं।

उन्होंने कहा, "मैं दोहरे अंकों की वृद्धि की उम्मीद करती हूं। हम इसके लिए काम करेंगे। अर्थव्यवस्था को हमें जो बढ़ावा देना है।

 

सरकार द्वारा जारी हालिया आंकड़ों से संकेत मिलता है कि भारत ने चालू वित्त वर्ष की पहली तिमाही में 13.5 प्रतिशत की जीडीपी वृद्धि दर्ज की है। एक साल पहले यह 20.1 फीसदी था।

New Delhi:04 Sep 2022: The country is on a strong wicket compared to others and is responsive in terms of extending hand-holding to the required sections. Indian finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman recently said. She is hopeful of double-digit growth in the gross domestic product (GDP) in this fiscal. She was quoted as saying by a news agency.

 

Citing reports, she said the country has nil chance of slipping into recession. “We are literally the fastest growing economy," she emphasized, saying she did consider the fact that much more developed economies comparable with India are on the verge of recession.

 

She said "I hope for (double-digit growth). We will work for it... So if you're not on the verge of recession, it also gives me the confidence that if you are constantly responsive in terms of the sections which need hand-holding, in terms of the boost that we have to give to the economy."

 

Recent figures released by the government indicated that India saw 13.5 percent GDP growth in the first quarter of this fiscal. It was 20.1 percent a year ago.
