मुंबई: 11 नवंबर 2022:  कपड़ा मूल्य श्रृंखला के भीतर एक विरोधाभासी व्यवहार  है। इससे सूती धागे के व्यापारियों और खरीदारों को अनभिज्ञ हैं। बुनाई उद्योग से कमजोर खरीदारी के बीच आज मुंबई और तिरुपुर में कपास की कीमतें स्थिर रहीं। बुनाई और परिधान उद्योगों की मांग कमजोर थी। यार्न की कीमतों को समर्थन नहीं मिला। लेकिन सीमित आवक के बीच कपास की कीमतों में तेजी है।

 

सूती धागे की कीमतों में मुंबई के बाजार में स्थिर रुझान देखा गया। सूती धागे की कीमतें बढ़ाने से खरीदार अनिच्छुक थे। बुनाई और परिधान उद्योग से मांग सहायक नहीं थी। लेकिन कम आवक के कारण कपास की कीमतों में तेजी आ रही है।

 

मुंबई में, ताना और बाने की किस्मों के 60 काउंट कार्डेड सूती धागे का कारोबार क्रमशः 1,670-1,720 रुपये और 1,600-1,620 रुपये प्रति 5 किलोग्राम (जीएसटी अतिरिक्त) पर हुआ। 60 कॉम्बेड ताना की कीमत 355-360 रुपये प्रति किलो थी। 80 कार्डेड (वेट) सूती धागा 1,500-1,540 रुपये प्रति 4.5 किलोग्राम पर बेचा गया। 44/46 काउंट कार्डेड कॉटन यार्न (ताना) की कीमत 310-315 रुपये प्रति किलो थी। 40/41 काउंट कार्डेड कॉटन यार्न (ताना) 300-305 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम और 40/41 काउंट कॉम्बेड यार्न (ताना) की कीमत 320-325 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम थी।

 

तिरुपुर बाजार में भी सूती धागे की कीमतों में स्थिर रुख रहा। पहले खरीदार अपने स्टॉक को फिर से भरने के लिए आते थे। वे आगे की खरीदारी को लेकर सतर्क हैं। व्यापारियों को लगा कि कपड़ा मूल्य श्रृंखला में विरोधाभास उद्योग के लिए अच्छा नहीं है। खरीदार प्रतीक्षा और घड़ी की नीति अपना रहे हैं। तिरुपुर बाजार में आज 30 काउंट कॉम्बेड कॉटन यार्न 305-310 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम (जीएसटी अतिरिक्त), 34 काउंट कॉम्ब 315-320 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम और 40 काउंट कॉम्बेड 320-325 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम पर कारोबार कर रहा था। 30 काउंट कार्ड का सूत 275-280 रुपये प्रति किलो, 34 काउंट कार्ड 282-285 रुपये प्रति किलो और 40 काउंट कार्ड 292-295 रुपये प्रति किलो पर बेचा गया।

 

गुजरात में कपास की कीमतों में तेजी का रुख जारी रहा। कीमतें 1,000-1,500 रुपये प्रति कैंडी 356 किलोग्राम तक मजबूत हुईं। ऐसी अटकलें थीं कि दो बहुराष्ट्रीय कंपनियों ने गुजरात में सूती धागे को 68,000 रुपये प्रति कैंडी के हिसाब से खरीदना शुरू कर दिया है। कारोबारियों के मुताबिक कपास की कीमतों में तेजी आ रही है। कम आवक के बीच बीज कपास में तेजी आ रही है। लेकिन डाउनस्ट्रीम उद्योग से मांग खराब रही। जिनिंग और कताई मिलों की कीमतों में असमानता है। गुजरात में कपास की कीमतें 67,000-68,000 रुपये प्रति कैंडी पर नोट की गईं। कपास के बीज का कारोबार 20 किलो के प्रति मन 1900-2000 रुपये पर हुआ। गुजरात की मंडियों में कुल आवक 22,000-23,000 गांठ 170 किलोग्राम होने का अनुमान है।

Cotton yarn prices steady in South India

 

Mumbai: 11 Nov 2022: There has been a contradictory behaviours within the textile value chain have. It has left cotton yarn traders and buyers clueless. Cotton prices remained steady in Mumbai and Tiruppur today amid poor buying from the weaving industry. Demand from weaving and garment industries was weak, so yarn prices failed to find support. But cotton prices are rising amid limited arrival.

 

Mumbai market witnessed a stable trend in cotton yarn prices. Buyers were reluctant at increasing cotton yarn prices. Demand from the weaving and garment industry was not supportive. But cotton prices are gaining due to low arrival.

 

In Mumbai, 60 count carded cotton yarn of warp and weft varieties were traded at Rs1,670-1,720 and Rs1,600-1,620 per 5 kg (GST extra), respectively. 60 combed warp was priced at Rs355-360 per kg. 80 carded (weft) cotton yarn was sold at Rs1,500-1,540 per 4.5 kg. 44/46 count carded cotton yarn (warp) was priced at Rs310-315 per kg. 40/41 count carded cotton yarn (warp) was sold at Rs300-305 per kg and 40/41 count combed yarn (warp) was priced at Rs320-325 per kg.

 

Tiruppur market also recorded a stable trend in cotton yarn prices. Earlier, buyers came up to replenish their stocks, but they are cautious about further purchases. Traders felt that contradiction in textile value chain was not good for the industry, and buyers are adopting the wait and watch policy. Today, 30 count combed cotton yarn was traded at Rs305-310 per kg (GST extra), 34 count combed at Rs315-320 per kg and 40 count combed at Rs320-325 per kg in the Tiruppur market. Cotton yarn of 30 count carded was sold at Rs275-280 per kg, 34 count carded at Rs282-285 per kg and 40 count carded at Rs292-295 per kg.

 

In Gujarat, the upward trend continued in cotton prices. Prices strengthened further by Rs1,000-1,500 per candy of 356 kg. There were speculations that two MNCs have begun buying cotton yarn in Gujarat for Rs68,000 per candy. According to the traders, cotton prices are rising as seed cotton was gaining amid lower arrival. But demand from the downstream industry remained poor. There is disparity in prices of ginning and spinning mills. Cotton prices were noted at Rs67,000-68,000 per candy in Gujarat. Seed cotton was traded at Rs1,900-2,000 per maund of 20 kg. Total arrival was estimated at 22,000-23,000 bales of 170 kg in Gujarat mandis.
