Cotton yarn prices ease in Tiruppur, poor demand in South India ।। तिरुपुर में सूती धागे की कीमतों में गिरावट, दक्षिण भारत में कमजोर मांग

 

तिरुपुर : 05 मई 2023: दक्षिण भारत में डाउनस्ट्रीम उद्योग से सूती धागे की धीमी मांग जारी रही। तिरुपुर बाजार में सूती धागे की कीमतों में 2-4 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम की गिरावट आई, लेकिन 40-41 कार्डेड ताने के धागे को छोड़कर मुंबई में वे स्थिर रहे, जो मंदी की मांग का दबाव महसूस कर रहे थे। कारोबारियों ने कहा कि मौजूदा सुस्त मांग खत्म होने के कोई संकेत नहीं हैं। परिधान निर्यात के आदेश बाजार का समर्थन करने के लिए नगण्य थे।

कमजोर मांग के कारण तिरुपुर बाजार में सूती धागे की कीमतों में 2-4 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम की गिरावट दर्ज की गई। बाजार को निर्यात या घरेलू मांग से कोई समर्थन नहीं मिला। तिरुपुर बाजार के एक व्यापारी ने "कॉटन यार्न की कीमतों का समर्थन करने के लिए परिधान निर्यात ऑर्डर नगण्य थे। हालांकि, मिलों ने इस महीने के लिए यार्न की कीमतों को कम कर दिया है, लेकिन खरीदारों को लुभाने के लिए छूट और अन्य प्रकार की कम पेशकश आम थी। मिल और स्टॉकिस्ट अपने स्टॉक बेचने का दबाव महसूस कर रहे थे। तिरुपुर बाजार में 30 काउंट कॉम्बेड कॉटन यार्न 276-280 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम (जीएसटी अतिरिक्त), 34 काउंट कॉम्बेड 286-290 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम और 40 काउंट कॉम्बेड 303-308 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम पर कारोबार कर रहा था। 30 काउंट कार्डेड कॉटन यार्न 248-254 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम, 34 काउंट कार्डेड 254-258 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम और 40 काउंट कार्डेड 261-266 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम पर बेचा गया।

 

मुंबई सूती धागे के बाजार में अधिकांश काउंट और किस्मों की कीमतों में स्थिर रुझान देखा गया। भुगतान संकट के कारण बाजार सुस्त मांग के दबाव का सामना कर रहा था। बताया, "डाउनस्ट्रीम उद्योग भुगतान संकट महसूस कर रहा था। परिधान इकाइयों की चुप्पी के कारण कपड़ा बाजार में मांग धीमी रही जिससे भुगतान संकट पैदा हो गया। समस्या ने यार्न बाजार में भी नकदी प्रवाह को सुखा दिया। लेकिन इस सप्ताह की शुरुआत में नरमी के बाद धागे की कीमतें स्थिर रहीं। मुंबई में, टेक्सप्रो के अनुसार, ताना और बाने की किस्मों के 60 काउंट कार्डेड सूती धागे का कारोबार क्रमशः 1,500-1,530 रुपये और 1,360-1,400 रुपये प्रति 5 किलोग्राम (जीएसटी अतिरिक्त) पर हुआ। 60 कंघे वाले ताने की कीमत 350-353 रुपये प्रति किलो थी। 80 कार्डेड (वेट) कॉटन यार्न 1,460-1,500 रुपये प्रति 4.5 किलोग्राम पर बिका। 44/46 काउंट कार्डेड कॉटन यार्न (ताना) की कीमत 275-280 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम थी। 40/41 काउंट कार्डेड कॉटन यार्न (ताना) 260-270 रुपये प्रति किलो और 40/41 काउंट कार्डेड कॉटन यार्न (वार्प) 295-305 रुपये प्रति किलो की दर से बिका। 40/41 काउंट कार्डेड कॉटन यार्न (वार्प) में 5 रुपये प्रति किलो की गिरावट के साथ कारोबार हुआ।

 

गुजरात में आईसीई कपास में तेजी के कारण कपास की कीमतों में तेजी का रूझान दिखा। कारोबारियों ने कहा कि सूत कातने वाले कपास की खरीदारी के लिए ऊंची बोली लगा रहे हैं, लेकिन विक्रेता इसे खरीदने से कतरा रहे हैं। एशियाई कारोबारी सत्र के दौरान आईसीई कपास 2.18 प्रतिशत की बढ़त के साथ 83.49 डॉलर प्रति पाउंड पर कारोबार कर रहा था। कॉटन यार्न 356 किलोग्राम प्रति कैंडी 61,500-61,700 रुपये पर कारोबार कर रहा था। कीमतों में 400-500 रुपये प्रति कैंडी की बढ़ोतरी की गई। गुजरात में कपास की आवक 170 किलोग्राम की 25,000-28,000 गांठें दर्ज की गई। पूरे भारत में करीब 80,000 गांठों की आवक का अनुमान लगाया गया है।

Cotton yarn prices ease in Tiruppur, poor demand in South India

Tiruppur : 05 May 2023: Cotton yarn continued to see slow demand from downstream industry in South India. Cotton yarn prices eased down by Rs 2-4 per kg in Tiruppur market, but they remained steady in Mumbai except for 40-41 carded warp yarn which felt pressure of bearish demand. Traders said that there was no indication of ending current sluggish demand. Garment export orders were insignificant to support the market.

Tiruppur market noted fall in cotton yarn prices of Rs 2-4 per kg because of slower demand. The market could not find any support from export or domestic demand. A trader from Tiruppur market ें said, “Garment export orders were insignificant to support cotton yarn prices. Although, mills have rolled over yarn prices for this month, but discounts and other types of lower offerings were common to lure buyers. Mills and stockists were feeling pressure to sell their stocks.” 30 count combed cotton yarn was traded at Rs 276-280 per kg (GST extra), 34 count combed at Rs 286-290 per kg and 40 count combed at Rs 303-308 per kg in the Tiruppur market. Cotton yarn of 30 count carded was sold at Rs 248-254 per kg, 34 count carded at Rs 254-258 per kg and 40 count carded at Rs 261-266 per kg.

 

Mumbai cotton yarn market noted steady trend in the prices for most of the counts and varieties. The market was facing pressure of sluggish demand because of payment crisis. A trader from Mumbai market said, “Downstream industry was feeling payment crisis. There was slower demand in fabric market due to silence of garment units which caused the payment crisis. The problem dried up cash flow in yarn market also.” But yarn prices remained stable after ease in early part of this week. In Mumbai, 60 count carded cotton yarn of warp and weft varieties were traded at Rs 1,500-1,530 and Rs 1,360-1,400 per 5 kg (GST extra) respectively. 60 combed warp was priced at Rs 350-353 per kg. 80 carded (weft) cotton yarn was sold at Rs 1,460-1,500 per 4.5 kg. 44/46 count carded cotton yarn (warp) was priced at Rs 275-280 per kg. 40/41 count carded cotton yarn (warp) was sold at Rs 260-270 per kg and 40/41 count combed yarn (warp) was priced at Rs 295-305 per kg. 40/41 count carded cotton yarn (warp) was traded lower by Rs 5 per kg.

 

In Gujarat, cotton prices showed upward trend because of rise in ICE cotton. Traders said that spinners were quoting high to purchase cotton, but sellers were reluctant to commit. ICE cotton was traded at $83.49 per pound with gain of 2.18 per cent during Asian trading session. Cotton yarn was traded at Rs 61,500-61,700 per candy of 356 kg. The prices were quoted higher by Rs 400-500 per candy. Cotton arrival was noted at 25,000-28,000 bales of 170 kg each in Gujarat. All India arrival was estimated around 80,000 bales.
