हैदराबाद: कपड़े की कीमतों में कमी के कारण तेलंगाना के सिरसिला टेक्सटाइल पार्क में पावरलूम बंद हो रहे हैं। इस मंदी का कारण घरेलू और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दोनों बाजारों में कपड़ों की कम मांग है। सिरसिला टेक्सटाइल पार्क के क्लॉथ मैन्युफैक्चरर्स एसोसिएशन ने अपने सदस्यों को इस निर्णय के बारे में सूचित किया।

 

दो दशक पहले स्थापित इस पार्क का संचालन इस साल 2 जनवरी को बंद हो गया। एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष अन्नलदास अनिल के अनुसार, पार्क का अस्थायी रूप से बंद होना कपड़े की कीमतों में गिरावट का सीधा परिणाम है। देश भर में इसी तरह की विनिर्माण इकाइयाँ पहले ही बंद हो चुकी थीं, और आगे नुकसान सहने में असमर्थ थीं।

 

कपड़े की कीमतों में उल्लेखनीय गिरावट पार्क में बिजली करघों के बंद होने का प्राथमिक कारण थी, औसत कीमतों में 25-30 प्रतिशत की गिरावट आई थी। बुनकर, पहले से ही धागे और रसायनों की बढ़ी हुई लागत से जूझ रहे थे, लेकिन उन्हें असाध्य घाटे के कारण उत्पादन रोकने के लिए मजबूर होना पड़ा।

 

सिरसिला कपड़ा पार्क, जो तेलंगाना के राजन्ना सिरसिला जिले में स्थित है और इसमें पावरलूम, प्रसंस्करण और रंगाई इकाइयां शामिल हैं, अब वैश्विक कपड़ा उद्योग की मंदी के कारण गंभीर चुनौतियों का सामना कर रहा है। 

 

प्रारंभ में, सिरसिला पावरलूम मुख्य रूप से निजी कपड़े की बिक्री के लिए संचालित होते थे। हालाँकि, बाद में उन्हें बथुकम्मा साड़ियों और अन्य त्योहारी पोशाकों के लिए पड़ोसी क्षेत्रों की राज्य सरकारों से पर्याप्त ऑर्डर मिले, जिनकी आपूर्ति तमिलनाडु, गुजरात, छत्तीसगढ़, केरल और दिल्ली जैसे राज्यों को हुई। सिरसिला से गुजरात और महाराष्ट्र में ऑर्डर स्थानांतरित होने से पार्क पर काफी प्रभाव पड़ा है। वर्तमान में, सिरसिला पार्क के पावरलूम पूरी तरह से निजी आदेशों पर निर्भर हैं, और घरेलू और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय दोनों बाजारों में गंभीर स्थिति ने इन उद्योगों को काफी तनाव में डाल दिया है।

Haidarabad: Power looms in the Sircilla textile park in Telangana are closing down due to a decrease in fabric prices. This downturn is attributed to a reduced demand for garments in both domestic and international markets. The Cloth Manufacturers Association of the Sircilla Textile Park notified their members about this decision.

 

Established two decades ago, the park ceased operations on January 2 this year. According to the association's president, Annaldas Anil, the park's temporary closure is a direct result of the decline in cloth prices. Similar manufacturing units across the country had already shut down, unable to sustain further losses.

 

A significant drop in fabric prices was the primary cause for the shutdown of the power looms in the park, with average prices falling by 25-30 per cent. Weavers, already struggling with increased costs for yarn and chemicals, were forced to halt production due to unsustainable losses. The Sircilla textile park, located in the Rajanna Sircilla district of Telangana and comprising power looms, processing, and dyeing units, is now experiencing severe challenges due to the global textile industry's slowdown.

 

 

Initially, the Sircilla power looms operated primarily for private fabric sales. However, they later received substantial orders from state governments in neighbouring regions for Bathukamma sarees and other festival attire, supplying to states like Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, and Delhi. The shift of orders from Sircilla to Gujarat and Maharashtra has significantly impacted the park. Currently, the Sircilla park's power looms rely solely on private orders, and the grim situation in both domestic and international markets has placed these industries under considerable stress.
