Piyush Goyal urges textile industry to work on long roadmap for sector!! पीयूष गोयल ने कपड़ा उद्योग से क्षेत्र के लिए लंबे रोडमैप पर काम करने का आग्रह किया

मुंबई: २०२४/०४/१०: केंद्रीय मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने कपड़ा उद्योग के हितधारकों से इस क्षेत्र के विकास के लिए एक लंबे रोडमैप पर काम करने को कहा। कपड़ा मंत्री ने कहा कि उद्योग को विश्व बाजार पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने की जरूरत है क्योंकि इससे क्षेत्र को प्रतिस्पर्धी बनाने में मदद मिलेगी। 

उन्होंने यहां कपड़ा उद्योग के एक समारोह में कहा, ''हम भारत के लिए रोडमैप तैयार करने के लिए विभिन्न क्षेत्रों की एक टीम पर काम कर रहे हैं।'' उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था 2047 तक 35 मिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर तक पहुंचने की संभावना है, "इसलिए हमें यह देखना होगा कि इसमें कपड़ा उद्योग की हिस्सेदारी कितनी होगी"।

 

इस अवसर पर उनके साथ बोरीवली के खासदार गोपाल  सेट्टी और आमदार सुनील राणे भी मौजूद थे। अपनी बातचीत के दौरान, मंत्री ने विभिन्न सरकारी पहलों को लागू करने में अनुकूल माहौल बनाने के लिए सरकारी एजेंसियों और स्थानीय निर्वाचित प्रतिनिधियों के बीच घनिष्ठ संपर्क और समन्वय की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। 

 

मंत्री ने कहा कि सब्सिडी-उन्मुख योजनाओं के तहत प्राप्त आवेदनों को प्रत्येक योजना के व्यापक उद्देश्य को ध्यान में रखते हुए स्वचालन का उपयोग करके पारदर्शी तरीके से संसाधित किया जाना चाहिए और आवश्यक तंत्र तैयार किया जाना चाहिए ताकि उद्योग और विभाग के व्यक्तिगत संपर्क को समाप्त किया जा सके और प्रक्रिया को मानकीकृत किया जा सके। 

 

मंत्री ने कपास की उत्पादकता बढ़ाने और कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्रालय के साथ आवश्यक पहल करने की आवश्यकता पर प्रकाश डाला। भारतीय कपास निगम मुद्रा ऋण का लाभ उठाकर स्थापित स्टार्टअप के माध्यम से कपास किसानों को कपास तोड़ने की मशीनें उपलब्ध कराने की संभावनाओं पर काम करेगा और छोटे खिलाड़ियों की सहायता के लिए विशेष मॉडल विकसित किए जाएंगे। श्री गोयल ने कपड़ा क्षेत्र में बाल श्रम उन्मूलन के मुद्दे पर जोर दिया और एक रणनीतिक योजना बनाने के लिए हितधारकों के साथ एक बैठक बुलाने का सुझाव दिया।

 

निर्यात संवर्धन परिषदों की गतिविधियों की समीक्षा करते हुए, कपड़ा मंत्री ने विकासशील देश-उन्मुख व्यापक व्यापार समझौतों के लिए व्यापक-आधारित उद्योग बातचीत का सुझाव दिया। इसके अलावा, उद्योग को समर्थन देने के लिए वित्तीय साधन विकसित करें, जो सब्सिडी पर केंद्रित नहीं हैं और ऐसी गारंटी के माध्यम से बैंकों से स्थिर ऋण प्रवाह को सक्षम करते हैं, मंत्री ने कहा।

 

मंत्री ने भविष्य के मूल्यवर्धित उत्पादों के विकास और उनकी प्रदर्शनी की आवश्यकता पर भी जोर दिया। उन्होंने हमारी ताकत का लाभ उठाने और बाजार की आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने के लिए वैगन कवर के उपयोग और राष्ट्रीय तकनीकी कपड़ा मिशन के इष्टतम उपयोग के लिए तकनीकी वस्त्र विकसित करने की आवश्यकता पर विचार किया। उन्होंने पश्मीना ऊन की अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर ब्रांडिंग करने की आवश्यकता पर भी बल दिया। इसके अलावा, उन्होंने कपड़ा अनुसंधान संघों से सरकारी अनुदान पर निर्भर रहने के बजाय आत्मनिर्भर बनने का आग्रह किया।

 

बैठकों के बाद मीडिया को संबोधित करते हुए मंत्री ने कहा कि कपड़ा क्षेत्र सबसे बड़ा नियोक्ता होने के साथ-साथ सबसे बड़ा निर्यातक भी है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह क्षेत्र किसानों की आय दोगुनी करने, युवाओं के लिए रोजगार के अवसर पैदा करने और प्रत्येक भारतीय नागरिक को आत्मनिर्भरता और आत्म-सम्मान का जीवन जीने में सक्षम बनाने के माननीय प्रधान मंत्री के दृष्टिकोण को पूरा करने में बहुत महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा सकता है।

Mumbai: 2024/04/10: Union Minister Piyush Goyal asked textile industry stakeholders to work on a long roadmap for the development of the sector.

 

The Textiles Minister said that the industry needs to focus on the world market as this will help in making the sector competitive.

 

“We are working on a cross-sector team to prepare a roadmap for India,” he said at a textile industry event here. He said the Indian economy is likely to reach US$35 million by 2047, "so we have to see what share the textile industry will have in it".

 

On this occasion, Borivali MP Gopal Setty and MLA Sunil Rane were also present with him. During his interaction, the Minister stressed the need for close interaction and coordination between government agencies and local elected representatives to create a conducive environment in implementing various government initiatives.

 

The Minister said that applications received under subsidy-oriented schemes should be processed in a transparent manner using automation keeping in mind the broader objective of each scheme and necessary mechanisms should be put in place so as to eliminate personal contact between the industry and the department. It can be done and the process can be standardized.

  

The Minister highlighted the need to increase the productivity of cotton and take necessary initiatives with the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. Cotton Corporation of India will work on the possibilities of providing cotton plucking machines to cotton farmers through startups established by availing Mudra loan and special models will be developed to assist small players. Shri Goyal stressed on the issue of eradication of child labor in the textile sector and suggested convening a meeting with stakeholders to make a strategic plan.

 

Reviewing the activities of Export Promotion Councils, the Textiles Minister suggested broad-based industry negotiations for developing country-oriented comprehensive trade agreements. Also, develop financial instruments to support the industry, which are not focused on subsidies and enable stable credit flow from banks through such guarantees, the minister said.

 

The Minister also stressed the need for development and exhibition of future value-added products. He considered the need to develop technical textiles for optimum utilization of wagon covers and National Technical Textiles Mission to leverage our strengths and meet the market requirements. He also stressed the need for branding Pashmina wool internationally. Furthermore, he urged textile research associations to become self-reliant instead of relying on government grants.

 

Addressing the media after the meetings, the Minister said that the textile sector is the largest employer as well as the largest exporter. He said that this sector can play a very important role in fulfilling the vision of the Honorable Prime Minister of doubling the income of farmers, creating employment opportunities for the youth and enabling every Indian citizen to live a life of self-reliance and self-respect.
