India bans land port imports of more jute products from Bangladesh।। भारत ने बांग्लादेश से और अधिक जूट उत्पादों के भूमि बंदरगाह आयात पर प्रतिबंध लगाया

नई दिल्ली: 2025/08/12: भारत सरकार ने भूमि बंदरगाहों के माध्यम से बांग्लादेश से आयात पर और सख्ती कर दी है। विदेश व्यापार महानिदेशालय (DGFT) ने पड़ोसी देश से जूट उत्पादों के आयात पर प्रतिबंध लगाते हुए कहा है कि चार HS कोड के तहत आने वाली वस्तुओं का आयात किसी भी भूमि मार्ग से नहीं किया जा सकता। इस संबंध में सोमवार को एक अधिसूचना जारी की गई।

 

DGFT के अनुसार, HS कोड 531090 (जूट या अन्य टेक्सटाइल बास्ट रेशों के प्रक्षालित और अप्रक्षालित बुने हुए कपड़े), 560890 (जूट की सुतली, डोरी, रस्सी आदि), 560790 (सुतली, डोरी, रस्सी और केबल) और 630510 (जूट के बोरे और थैले) के तहत बांग्लादेश से जूट उत्पादों के आयात की भारत-बांग्लादेश सीमा पर किसी भी भूमि बंदरगाह से अनुमति नहीं होगी। उन्हें केवल न्हावा शेवा बंदरगाह के माध्यम से ही अनुमति दी जाएगी।

 

अधिसूचना में कहा गया है कि 27 जून 2025 की अधिसूचना संख्या 21/2025-26 के अन्य सभी नियम और शर्तें अपरिवर्तित रहेंगी।

 

भारतीय जूट उद्योग ने और अधिक तैयार जूट उत्पादों पर प्रतिबंधों को बढ़ाने की माँग की थी। भारतीय जूट मिल्स एसोसिएशन (आईजेएमए) के अध्यक्ष राघवेंद्र गुप्ता ने कहा, "तैयार उत्पादों पर इस तरह के प्रतिबंध एक स्वागत योग्य कदम हैं। इसमें जूट के बुने हुए कपड़े - चाहे वे प्रक्षालित हों या बिना प्रक्षालित - सुतली, डोरी, रस्सी, जूट के केबल और सामान पैक करने के लिए इस्तेमाल होने वाले जूट के बोरे और थैले शामिल किए जाने चाहिए।" हालाँकि, एसोसिएशन ने कमी से बचने के लिए जूट उद्योग के कच्चे माल पर प्रतिबंधों को कम करने का आग्रह किया।

New Delhi: 2025/08/12: The Government of India has further tightened imports from Bangladesh via land ports. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has restricted the import of jute products from the neighbouring country, stating that items under four HS codes cannot be imported through any land route. A notification to this effect was issued on Monday.

 

According to the DGFT, imports of jute products under HS code 531090 (bleached and unbleached woven fabrics of jute or other textile bast fibres), 560890 (twine, cordage, rope, etc., of jute), 560790 (twine, cordage, rope, and cables), and 630510 (sacks and bags of jute) from Bangladesh will not be permitted from any land port along the India-Bangladesh border. They will be allowed only through the Nhava Sheva Seaport.

 

All other terms and conditions of Notification No. 21/2025-26 dated 27 June 2025 will remain unchanged, the notification added.

 

Indian jute industry had demanded the extension of restrictions on more finished jute products. Raghavendra Gupta, chairman of the Indian Jute Mills Association (IJMA), said, “Such restrictions on finished products are a welcome step. It should be extended to include woven fabrics of jute—whether bleached or unbleached—twine, cordage, rope, cables of jute, and sacks and bags of jute used for packing goods.” However, the association urged to ease restrictions on raw materials of jute industry to avoid scarcity.
